That 1st pond with all the goldfish is stunning! The bridge, destination rock, and circular deck all are arranged just perfect. The coloring and quantity of the goldfish are mesmerizing when they're swimming in the same direction. Excellent work!!

We're about to get started doing the rocks after I get the crate of flagstone so being this is my 1st sizable pond I can't wait to see how it all comes out when we hook up the power to it & watch how it all flows.
You can probably build something crazy for 20K if you do it yourself. Currently working on a pond about 40' x 80' and roughly 6' deep at the deepest. Going to cost me a lot less than 100K and bigger than most. Probably 10K in under liner, sand, and liner. The other 10K will be the gardens, rocks and plants.
The leaf litter can be used as fertilizer for plants, make a compost heap and it is ready. Specially if with all the goldfish in there, their plants must be HAPPY.
I know most people are all about koi but this is the most striking pond with all the fish I've ever seen. I have shubunkins. I wouldn't trade them for any koi.

Dear God knows I have swam in a many creeks and rivers while they were in the water 😁 Seeing that many gold fish with wetland filtration and not mechanical filtration is a testimony in itself. 👍 God bless wonderful art.

That's a stunning pond. Beautiful. The only prob with g/fish is that they gobble up any attempt by nature to establish an eco system. If I had that much space I d have pond number 2 stocked only with sticklebacks so as to attract frogs, dragonflies etc.
And on my $12,000 a year, this is totally doable, why would I do things on the cheap but more work instead? Oh right, I'm po - can't even afford the other or. Lol Altho I have really enjoyed all the advice you've been so generous with, every time that I've asked, you've always been very gracious, especially for a guy on a really fixed income.

@@YassJuni don't forget they will multiply. At some point there will be small babies running arround. Especially with 25 goldfish. I have a pond in my back yard my mom had us build back in 2002ish and we started with 8, we had 40 at one point a few years ago.

It all depends on the filtration and what types of Goldfish you are keeping. Normal goldfish can still get pretty big.
