Just bought mine last week and it arrived today. It also came with stickers! I HAD to install it ASAP🐫. After removing the right hand side crash bars it took me a grand total of 19 minutes to remove the existing lever and bracket and install and adjust the new setup.
This is a great improvement in lever pull especially with the shortened levers and old hands. Love it.

that was both informative, and an excellent addition to the KLR. Most important was the fact you guys are making forward and reverse compatible that is 100% why i got the klr. Thanks a ton for this.

Just installed, and I’m impressed. Extremely well made bit of kit that addresses one of the KLR’s most annoying quirks-the minuscule clutch throw. Really impressed by such a high quality part at a KLR rider’s price point. I’m not saying we’re all cheap, but, well, we are. Thanks so much!

I can totally vouch for the effectiveness of this mod. I wish this kit was available when I modified my own KLR 1 1/2 years ago due to the stress of the stock setup on the hand. I don't know how much longer the Camel arm is but with the stock arm lengthened by 13mm the pull weight at the center of my clutch lever went from 17lbs to 11 lbs. I use a shortened clutch lever so that is the weight you can expect when using two fingers. As usual, Camel thinks of everything especially the modified cable bracket which is essential for proper operation and component life.
How about a 1 finger clutch kit for the KTM 390 Adventure! My wife will bake you a cake if you come out with a kit for her bike!

I'm Disabled due to an accident. The Left side of MY Body does NOT work like it did from "The Factory". I purchased one of these after ACCIDENTALLY finding THIS Product online! I'll be installing is soon. Looking forward to seeing how it helps my Left Hand out!

Great video save for using vise grips on the cable. This job can be done without doing that , simply remove the cable from the lever or Leever up top.

The cable slides back into the sheath making it difficult to get the book over the cable end. We use vice grips with moderate tension so the cable doesn't get damaged. You can do it however you see fit.

Nice, Cory! That's really cool that you are manufacturing something worthwhile for the KLR. I'm about to purchase one. Maybe introduce an auxiliary fuel tank next to make the bike have even longer range? I love the auxilliary tank on my WR250R. I would love to be able to get another for my WR250X...just sayin'.

Dang I could've used one of these a few weeks ago. We attempted some Winter time single track and my clutch fingers just about fell off!

Has anyone installed the 1 Finger Clutch kit on a KLR650 with a FMF Power Bomb Header pipe? Using the kit cable guide, I cannot get the nut back on the cable. I can install using the OEM cable guide, but I was told that is not recommended because using the OEM cable guide will have the cable running at a slight angle. It will cause drag and wear the cable prematurely.
If you installed the 1 Finger Clutch kit with a FMF Power Bomb, I would appreciate hearing what tips or tricks you used. Thanks.

Will this work on my 1990 KLR650-B Tengai? I’m assuming it will, but just checking. Thanks!

I don't know much about that version of the bike. If the motor and clutch are the same as the regular KLR, you should be OK.
