      Hi Amin. Glad you love Murrieta and thanks for the comment. We did quite a few videos talking about Costco the last few years.

    Both town sound pretty good, but I like Temecula only because there seems to be lot more to do there. Is it possible to buy a home in old town Temecula for about $400000?

    • @moving2murrieta
      @moving2murrieta  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi A Mangla. The $400k price point is tougher and tougher to find these days. You might get luck on something on the older and smaller side. Anyway, thanks for commenting.

    The audio is terrible. It sounds low & hollow. You should wear a microphone.

    I’m thinking about moving to this area from Sacramento. I’m liking Murrieta so far. Proximity to all the best cities and beaches, and seems safe.

    Even after 2 years you still have to pay a premium to live 20 minutes closer to the county line. My husband chose Temecula to save a few on the commute.

    • @moving2murrieta
      @moving2murrieta  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The SD people really like the south side of Temecula. I hear the Rainbow Canyon shortcut is getting crowded too now.

    • @moving2murrieta
      @moving2murrieta  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Brandt. We have two weather videos by "Weatherman Chris" haha. To answer your question, the weather stats say basically the same. It might seem cooler in Temecula because a lot of the streets and neighborhoods have more lush landscaping. Thanks for commenting.

    • @moving2murrieta
      @moving2murrieta  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Craig. Yes, it is getting a little more crowded. Murrieta Hot Springs and Winchester are the two busiest freeway exits in Murrieta and Temecula. It seems like a busy city at certain times and in the highest traffic spots. Other than that though, for LA, SD and OC people it will still seem much less crowded. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    I do enjoy all of that is offered in Temecula, but I prefer living in Murrieta for that there really isn't any hussle and bussle with people going the to the mall, or winery, or old town. It's great having Temecula so close though so when I do want to do those types of things I can just drive 15 minutes.

    • @moving2murrieta

    Been around here since 84. I would prefer our cities to be a secret. The 2 cities should have been one and should have been better planned especially with all the traffic we are now getting.

      Hard to keep a good thing a secret:) But I hear you. I grew up in Fallbrook and remember when when there was nothing here as well. We had go to Escondido to find a mall, lol.

      John, your comment touches on schools. We have great schools and outstanding high school sports out here. Dozens and dozens of D-1 athletes each year and we don't keep close tabs on that really. It would be a good video topic.

    Thank you for the video, Jessica. We live in Rancho Cucamonga currently and would like to retire to temecula in a few years. Hopefully you could help us find a nice home at that time (and possibly a 5-10 acre lot) for our children down the road.

    • @moving2murrieta
      @moving2murrieta  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The "historic" factor is a bit amplified and exaggerated out here in California, but in a good way. Most of the real history in the US is on the east coast. I'm sure people from the UK would get a kick out of "old" homes in California. Old means the 1990s around here. Haha.

      Temecula and Murrieta is an interesting SoCal phenomenon where you have affordable housing AND good schools. Most other cities with great schools in SoCal are very expensive areas, 700k plus for a home. Thanks for watching Paul!
