We have a similar reward scheme in the UK with Octopus Energy - you get credits for charging on “Supergreen” days when there is excess wind or solar generation on the grid - you will get “Octopoints” from Octopus that you can use towards reducing your monthly electricity bill or buy merch from them.. If you have a compatible EV or smart charger that Octopus can control the charging program of you can also get off peak electricity outside of the normal 2330 to 0530 off peak 7p/kW window if there is excess on the national grid.
BTW unlike your Tibber we can power any home equipment on the discount periods. AFAIK we don’t have any spot price pricing here in the summer but I can also get rewards in the winter for not consuming energy at times of peak demand like 4pm to 7pm - it varies and you always get a notification from Octopus in advance telling you when you should reduce consumption to a minimum to get credits.

Did you look into automating some of this with home assistant? You can do stuff like turning off the pool heat pump when you are charging the cars or automatically turning on the pool heat pump when the price is below a value you like.
In addition, you can do some smarts with changing the setpoint of house temp to reduce/increase consumption accordingly to the electricity prices.

Could be more but battery at 80%. Have not paid for charge since mid may.
If you choose a higher percentage in Easee on non connected cars the smart charging will plan less time for charging before your departure time. This can leave more time for grid reward and make the car not to charge up "to soon".
If you set no departure time on all data it Will devide the charging with 7. And charge 1/7 everyday.(10kwh every day).
If tpu instead on say monday ser departure sunday evening, it Will not charge everyday, just when Grid R is available

I already tried the Tibber dummy and it's bugged. Stay away from it.
Your channel really needs a new permanent car. An EV9 for example would skyrocket the interest and views. Imagine you and the whole family road tripping in that car. I remember when both Optimus Prime and MC Hammer came, it immediately sparked interest including mine. Press cars are usually boring, and most videos were just spreadsheet material. Just my tip as a 10 year follower. Do with it what you want of course. ;)
The problem is not the car. The problem is the lack of time available because of family.

Here in holland they have (zonneplan) they do this with home battery they buy electricity when low and cell when high price. There is a demo setup on there webside (20kWh battery) they make 1479 Euro at 8.5 months. I think tibber can do also something like this with a home battery.maybe something too look into it Bjorn.😊

Grid Award is only in Norway i guess. we do not have that in Germany.

I dont have an EV yet, but I check the Rabotcharge app from time to time. The lowest price I have seen so far is 0.12 Euro/kWh. Which is still very good with my current plan at 0.32 Euro/kWh or public charging with EnBW at 59 Euro/kWh.
In Sweden, it's becoming too complex with different kind of fees for electricity and distribution. Tibber can't account for all parameters. I have solar panels, and depending on spot-price it sometimes makes sense to use the electricity for charging the car, sometimes it's better to sell it (due to some tax incentives). Then we have variations in spot price, grid-rewards, and now there will be a new fee which depends on used peak power (I will be punished for using high power during a short time versus using lower power during a longer period). It's impossible to optimize this shit, I'll probably just give up and pay ... It would be nice if I could enter my specific parameters into the Tibber app, so it can account for everything and optimize this mess for me!

Bjorn, Im not sure what it is but in this video you are quite incomprehendible. I'm listening through a decent Hifi system, I think you eq is a bit off, (low freq bias), & the sound is a bit muffled, it is hard to follow what it is your are trying to show us. Also you are not speaking in full sentences, I think I know the EV jargon pretty well but piecing together your words is not easy. Just my honest opinion, I thought you might like to know.

As already explained in the video, it can easily be avoided. And the video also shows that Grid Rewards only lasts for 20 minutes.
