    Michele roasting herself for completely normal young teacher decisions… 👀
    Lol it’s how we learn what works and what doesn’t! ❤️

    That was fun to watch as I started watching you when you first started and didn't really realize that! I still teach 2nd grade and am about to start year 23! You have come a long way and I love all you have been sharing lately.

    I love this idea, Michelle! As someone who loves to have your old ones playing while I work, it would be fun to hear your thoughts now on them. You will be SHOCKED at how late you would stay at school 😱….

    You have had and still have such good organizational ideas! I just retired from teaching at the end of June but still enjoyed watching this video. I watched your previous videos over the years and they helped me so much. You are certainly an inspiration to other teachers. Wish I could have seen your videos when I first started teaching but of course, you weren't even born yet. Keep up the great work. I plan to do some substitute teaching this year and would love to see you do a video on tips and tricks for a substitute teacher. I also enjoyed your new home organization videos.

    You weren't awkward on camera back then! You've gotten better, but you were always doing well. Also, the standard for youtube videos has changed a lot in the last five years!

    You should do a video on alternatives to the clip chart since you said you no longer would use those!

    Hi Michelle! I enjoyed this video and seeing how you learned from your "mistakes". I'm curious though, about the clip chart you used to use. I'm a second grade teacher and we are required to use it. What did you not like about it and what did you use instead to manage behaviors in the classroom? I have a love/hate relationship with it and would love to have some other methods to consider for behavior management. Keep up the great work!

    Fun! Good tips about what worked and what didn’t. I don’t think you were awkward in your original videos but you’re certainly very professional and smooth now. Personally I like the fact that you seem to have less make up on these days than you did during that particular video. I’d love to have a conversation with how it feels to not be teaching now that you’re in Texas.

    I know you took this year off and was wondering, if you return to the classroom do you want the older grades(Grade 4-5) or primary grades(Kindergarten-Grade 3)? I'm reconsidering my grade level and just wondering. Could you possibly do a video on classroom management because I have a difficult class and I am close to leaving. but I know I cannot. Thank you. Alicia from CT

      @Sherlock910 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Henry. I'm sorry about your current situation. I was in the same predicament about two months ago. Something about my classroom management style did not help at all in the classroom setting. I started noticing that students would routinely engage in disruptive behavior that they would never have emulated for their previous grade teacher. The student misbehavior made it near impossible to get through lessons. We fell really far behind because of this. One thing that I wish I had done more of when I was in that setting was to ask for more help. In my case, I was ashamed because of the misbehavior of my students. Don't let that derail you. Ask for help. Run through your classroom management systems with a teacher in the building whom you trust. If its someone in your grade level team, that's awesome!! If not, find someone who teaches a grade level near yours. Run through your system for everything classroom related. Run through your consequences for student misbehavior, etc. The veterans can spot weaknesses that students are exploiting from a mile away.

    I really enjoy what you do. I couldn't get through part 2 of the reaction to your first classroom video, though. You are so hyper-critical! For me, this is like the ultra gorgeous, thin and fit girl who complains about being fat and ugly. Stop it, please!
