Ischia Black - A good tasting fig

I had a feeling the eye could be problematic in areas with moisture. It is a top tier variety in warm, dry climates.

Is Ischia Black the same fig as Black Ischia, just named differently? I just read somewhere that these two are different fig varieties.

That’s a tough question but I suppose Adriatic JH was best for taste. But I didn’t get many good figs off that tree. A lot of splitting
