The Euros highlighted how great Mancini’s side was and the incalculable value of a player like Verratti. Spalletti losing trust in Pellegrini and Jorginho cost us; and el shaarawy cant start ahead of zaccagni. Granted he didnt have the time but his solutions were awful. We should have aimed for corners and had cristante, Mancini & Bastoni attacking pellegrini’s delivery. Camarda holds our hopes 🙏

Ok so I don’t agree with all the doom and gloom let’s take into account these things. We were missing
Berardi
Tonali
Zaniolo
Locatelli (Not chosen 🤦🏼‍♂️)
Acerbi (Calafiori emerged)
Scalvini
Now take into account Barella was visibly not himself in all the games combined he looked lost, he looked slow, he looked confused, he was playing hurt and it was clearly affecting his play.
Also bringing up guys like El Shaa, Folorunshu, Christante, Raspadori, Darmian was useless and pointless.
Picture a starting line up like this with everyone fit.

The problem with this team is they are always injured and always dealing with something to key starters. They no longer have the depth of talent to consistently get results like they used to. The talent is there but I don’t think Spalletti is the right coach, I didn’t like when he got hired and I don’t like him now.
Let’s be real guys no one actually thought we were going to finish ahead of Spain what we are shocked is the lifeless attitude in which they played with. That squarely falls on Spalletti, never seen an Italy not fight, this is def not the worst collection of talent or team but it is def the only time I’ve seen them lifeless and unsure of themselves.
Let’s pray we can finally get drawn into an easy group and not always with Spain, Germany, England, or Spain, France for this upcoming WCQ. I’m telling you guys right now with Spalletti’s tactics and call ups if we are in one a group with one of them and the stupid UEFA qualifying they won’t win the group and will have to go to a playoff which I’m not confident with Spalletti as coach they will go through.
