Hi guys, my name is Liam I am a barber out side of Boston. We definitely live the faded culture up here, and your work is Appreciated. The one request I have for you videos is to if possible highlight the different panels in-between creating them and removing them. Also a video about all the different names for different fades with examples ie. drop fade burst fade tapper fade crunch fade ect. ect. I feel lile people hear these names and dont really have a clear way of explaining what they want. I know this is a long one but thank you from Worcester Mass.

Great vid guys, I definitely like the in-person intro then the voice-over for the explanation, very crisp and easy to follow! Can you guys also do a buzz cut fade tutorial? that's the hairstyle I've been rocking, but no one really has that tutorial done well. Thank you! with and without the half guards if possible

@@FADEDCULTURE fair enough man! I have the half guard already but I’ll try to find a 1.5 guard. I did a 4 last time, but it was too short. Imma try a 5 or 6 next time. If it’s not too much to ask, can you make the vid super easy and simple, like meant for people doing it at home for the first time. I know you guys are focusing on people who want to be barbers but a lot of people like myself are buzzing our heads lols Brittney Spears style.

@@FADEDCULTURE thanks for the reply, that's awesome. I try to post the same message on every video I watch so don't feel picked on if you see it pop up on other videos of yours. I'm not a pro barber by any means, I also have the 5 star srs. I thought they were pretty good then I bought the cordless $45 Chinese kemei clippers and modified a wahl crunch blade to fit them, I think they cut better than the wahl, though the modification of the blade to fit made it pretty loud. I sure have the original blade cut because I took it off pretty much when I got it and swapped it. Good video thanks again.

Just have like 2-3 months cutting what Clippers and trimmer do u guys recommend?? And can u guys do a vid how to use straight razor please thank you
The ones I use are in description brotha even if your starting out I wouldn’t recommend going too too cheap as that can make the process harder than it needs to be.
& we don’t have a dedicated video for just straight razor but all our videos have us shaving at the end different line ups, beards etc we throw in different tips on each one

Great videos. Just want to clear something up. At about the 5:40 mark you stated the 2.5 should blend right into the 3 guard step with barely any guideline but the previous step you stated you were using a 2 guard. Could you clarify which one you actually used. Thank you sir! I'm not nit picking just want to make sure I'm using the correct guards at each step. Thank you. Again, great videos.
@Regis Edwards - he did use a 2 guard, but left it open, essentially making it a "2.5 guard". Hope that helps!

I love your videos, best fade tutorials ever. I'm still learning but I was wondering if you can do a fade video with higher starting guards, for example, starting with a #3 guard instead of a zero fade. My son likes longer sides. Thanks
We definitely can do that, although In the mean time i want to mention it’s still same process use the 3&4 level open then shear over comb the rest to connect to the top. Hope that made sense just wanted to help in the mean time brotha

Wanted to give the man TJ a Happy Bday and wanted to thank you guys for doing these videos. I’ve been cutting my hair and a few others over a few years now, but you guys have help me improve the fades. I was wondering if you ever get a client that gets a 1 1/2 on top mid fade, then can make that video please. That’s the size I cut my hair to and always feel like there’s certain lines I have trouble with. Anyway, y’all keep doing what y’all doing, respect 🤙🏽

How much time did you need to improve your fades
@@autochthonous5601 I took a class and after cutting afro hair and trying different techniques I can do a decent fade, but most customers are in a hurry and don't really care about a perfect fade. It took me a long time, trying different blades and grates.. but in the end it's about the hair plantation too..
Practice makes perfect you deserve all the improvements because you are putting in the work!
