i fished the tench lake there for 48h on the 13th / 14th / 15th of june this year, WOW what a session i had, 27 tench to 8lb and lost 5 in the thick weed beds, was well worth the 4 hour drive to get there, sorry you blanked, but thats how fishing goes sometimes.

Unfortunately! One fish came out at either end as far away as possible. Can get frustrating but just gotta keep plugging away! 👍🏻
Hi mate, currently on peg 41 if you look down the tree line to the right at 7.5 wraps you can see a bar running from the treeline out into the lake. Unfortunately lost one this morning but it seems a good spot

Great to see the whole fishing trip in your videos always a good watch. Just wondering about the lead clip free running on a weedy’ish water, doesn’t that need to be fixed for the lead to eject!?
Thanks Chris. That lead clip set-up has enough resistance on the sleeve and swivel to discharge the lead even though it’s free running as such. Even though the swivel can be fixed with that pin in the lead clip it’s definitely tight enough without it for the lead to come free. Understand what you are saying though.
Better out than in don't they say LOL. Everything still seems to be a month behind round most of the country.

How big was the bar you found ?? And was it 13 and a bit wraps ?? I'm out on 4th 5th Sept for 24 hours need as much help as possible to be fair , fished it last year and got pretty beat up , not allowing it to do me in again ,
Genuinely cannot remmeber mate to be honest. Its not a easy water and very tricky.
@@MartynsAnglingAdventures yeah I really struggled , I fished the beach to the snags and zig straight out , blanked couldn't for the life of me find a clear spot , never mind all a learning curve 😀

No one tells you this lake is shallow. Very in places. Shame as if was 3-4 ft deeper birds wouldn’t be a nightmare

Why not use a choddy in the weed next time?
Not really for me. Much prefer finding a clear spot and fishing it that way. Just a confidence thing.
