Pokkurimakka's Theme is probably one of my favourite Patapon themes solely because of its infamy and its awesome sound.
The creepy slide whistle in the beginning leading to a driving *Boom* Tss *Boom* Tss *Boom* Tss *Boom* Tss on bass drum and cymbals is so iconic. When you hear that, you know you're in for something. The buildup to fever is amazing. Getting to where the the Fever Worm starts to jam out a bit right before fever and hearing those ambient and creepy chords is so cool to listen to. It portrays such a vivid feeling of otherworldliness.
Hitting fever, though.... That's where things get good. The violent stabs of the brass and strings with the chromatic synths and other sound effects over the bass drum and cymbals portrays a both goofy yet otherworldly and epic feel. But we all know why we're here: 1:14, the coolest part of the song. The synth line over the driving percussion with the added chromatic synths and sound effects are so good. The gong at 1:22 and 1:30 are so cool and so fitting. It's kinda like the "add timpani to your composition and you can make it sound good". Another cool part about this section is at 1:30 when the 8 measures repeat, they add an electric kick drum and it's just so awesome and fitting.
It's an amazing mixture of structure and musical chaos, sitting right between the well-structured Gyoro Gyoro's Theme and the chaotic evil Hey Whazzat Theme.
