I worked at a lab that had these kind of monkeys for testing, are they the stump tailed ones? We had some long tail ones too but more so of these. We use to preform high altitude tests and underwater decompression simulations vivisection. It was very interesting work and it’s amazing how much punishment these monkeys can take! Boyle’s Law was proven a fact though for them and although nitrogen narcosis was funny to see (picture a drunk monkey) the DCS afterward was rather gruesome. It was frustrating too, we would often go through 4 subjects a day to get 1 good sample. Cool monkeys!
I think she is the cutest little girl I have seen. I was all set to go to Hong Kong to see them when covid struck. I hope I can still see them all one day. 💞💞💞

There's a really positive development shown in this video, did ya'll notice that when Teeny went to hang out with Tina in the tree, that she (Teeny) had food in her pouches? This means she had no fear of Tina taking food from her, YAY, YIPPEE KAY YAY! Tina isn't taking food from Teeny any more!!! I wish I could have watched this video sooner (it posted 6 days ago) because nobody's here to be excited with me about this. Oh well, I'm still really happy about it!

So, is Tina pregnant? I've been wondering about that for the past few weeks. Could she possibly have miscarried her baby? She just doesn't seem to have that pregnant look anymore. I hate to say it, but it would be a blessing if she couldn't have any more babies. She obviously loves them, but only the very strongest babies can survive to adulthood with her.
It almost makes me cry just saying it too, but she’s not going to change her obsessive behavior at this stage of her life, regardless of how much the feeders leave.😔 I would hate to see another one of her babies die.
Hollis Blinn I don’t doubt that but even if he had survived that aspect I don’t think he would have made it further with any food he may have gotten (supposing he made it that far) being taken by Tina. Teeny is an absolute miracle.
Maybe Tina isn’t pregnant. Maybe we are just not used to seeing her well fed and not skinny and scrawny. After all, she greatly benefitted this year from Arroz and the other feeders’ plan to save Teenie

spikey for the new babies and for girls, teeny is the cutest out of the yearling girls, but i truly miss kailey. and for the boys its dipsey out of the yearling boys. but none of them beat dopey for personality and cuteness. we will just have to wait and see if any new babies shine like dopey did.
I was curious if anybody knew that when they go to sleep at night and go up in the trees do they sleep all together as a family or is it that once the babies get older and can be out and independent do they sleep separately like in different parts of the tree or different trees? Thank you for anybody answers just a curiosity I've had for a while. Lol
Because humanity can't seem to keep out of things. The monkeys aren't local to the area so someone decided that feeding them would be a good idea. They should be out foraging for real food instead of sitting by the road and begging like dogs. They have been eating human food and prefer it to what is available in nature so much so that they would starve to death if stopped.

So Tina is taking a year off having a baby? good choice Tina least 3 in a row with struggles, this gives Teeny a great chance and more bonding time. Or she may have already miscarried which is not a bad thing considering she does need a break.
Tina looked very pregnant just a couple of weeks ago and it seems to have gone backward some. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part that the pregnancy did not hold. So there won't be a new baby to starve and die. Tina can focus on herself and Teeny can work a little more on independence and catching up with her peers.

It’s not a documentary, it’s a Walt Disney movie about macaques. No one on this earth knows what the monkeys are actually feeling, they don’t know that they have names, they just live to to eat, sleep, and mate like all wild animals.

No, birthing season is only between May to August normally. Tiny was born between mid July to August, Tibbin mid August and Teeny early August.
