I'm so glad you've been able to chronicle Teeny's life from the beginning to now. The fact that she was able to survive is nothing short of a miracle. It's a tribute to your ability to intervene by distracting Tina with food, but mostly to Teeny's will to to live and her drive to glean every tiny morsel of nutrition from her environment. I've never seen anyone fight harder to live than this baby.
Teeny is frolicking! Literally frolicking! Her little ears are finally pink and her legs are filling out! Aww, bless her, she is so cute! Thank you for all your efforts Monkey Whisperer! ♡
I hope that Teeny and Skimpy do become friends in spite of the age and size difference and the Mom's differences. We all could use a friend no matter the size or color. Again I have to thank you Mr. Mariscos for the difference you have made in Teeny's life. I can see her confidence growing. 🥰
Agree, she's getting more confident and I hope Skimpy becomes a playmate for her too. If that doesn't work out she can befriend the 2020 babies in a few months. Love seeing her hang upside down from the branches and improving her climbing skills.🐒🐒🐒

With all the scarey stuff going on in the world right now watching Teeny is such a bright spot in my day. Remember when she could hardly summon the energy to walk? Now she is climbing and playing. What a little champion. Tina seems jealous sometimes, the way she snatches Teeny away from interacting with other monkeys. Not sure if it's that or she is worried someone will hurt Teeny. She will need to loosen her grip one day so Teeny can live her life. Thanks for sharing these lovely videos with us. They may give many of us a calm place to be in the evening.

Brothers playing wasnt as wholesome as Arroz may have ccommentated! This appears to be the norm in both the Resus and Long Tail realm. Especially when a big brother has a little sister. I think he gets to rubbing a little too much for comfort.....
@Jeremy Stillwell go look around at the dynamic with Aaron and Alba. Remember how baby Lola's big brother used to treat her? It wasn't meant to be a sick joke or derogatory comment. It truly is their behavior. It may seem odd to us, I think it is more the norm than not with macaques.
That baby has come a long way! Great job to you and all the feeders on Monkey Hill. She reminds me of my premature twins when they were babies, they started out a pound each so as they grew it was much slower and it took them longer to reach milestones than babies their age. They to grew like Teeny, when they were 10 months old they looked like chubby newborns. So maybe she was premature and is growing slower than her peers.

At 14:30 it’s the first time I’ve ever seen her play on tree sprout limbs!!!! My hand went to my heart and it felt warm and fuzzy!!! Yay for Teeny! Even though it takes a long time for her developmental milestones to happen, better late than never!
I hope Tina's coming baby will have a much easier time than Teeny & Tiny have had! I don't know if I can do this again! Make a me want to get on a plane and fly over there and help you take care of the monkeys in need! God will bless you for the kindness you have in your heart for His monkeys on Monkey Hill!

I afraid it’s just gonna get worse for Teeny when Tina pops. She’ll be mom’s personal shopper and grocery bag. Poor lil girl will never get to eat a full meal. And where’s our loving Skinny?
At this point I'm wholeheartedly convinced that there's something genetic going on in Tina's Family line. I wouldn't be surprised if she was equally as small at birth as her offspring. Yes, Tina does steal their food which adds insult to injury. It still doesn't account for their extremely small stature, birth weight, failure to thrive, & missing their developmental milestones. Both of them had the exact same set of symptoms, circumstances, & ultimately the same outcome as babies. Even the developmental delay on top of it all played out similarly. Factor in that it's been duplicated in her offspring, plus her own odd yet similar behavior & it really begins to look like a condition or syndrome of sorts. Read between the lines. Those kinds of things happening over & over again aren't coincidences. It's sad. 😢 It's also a shame I'll never know what's causing it since there's no wild monkey doctor to administer tests in a monkey hospital, lol. Jokes aside, it would be interesting to know the origin of such a defect/mutation in their genetics. Even if they're considered nuisance animals & pests. I'm curious to see how it plays out with subsequent generations. Teeny like Tiny will catch up to her peers in due time. Right now she's just taking a bit longer like her brother. Although I do think they'll always be a bit slower than the rest. He still struggles to find his place & socialize correctly. I'll sympathize when it's time for him to leave his natal troop. At least she gets to stay with the family, he sadly can't. Hopefully he'll be all caught up by then. Fingers crossed & hoping for the best!! With the cards stacked against them since birth they could sure use a darn break from the universe!!
There was another baby monkey that had similar symptoms to Teeny & Tiny. Only this poor baby was doomed from the start being born in some literal trash heap or dump in Cambodia (I think?) Her name was Heidi. She even had the same fingers & toes curled under. Although her condition seemed far more severe due to malnutrition. Have you seen, or were you familiar with her situation? I think WLA intervened but, sadly she still didn't make it.
The worst part is you’re probably right but humans are interfering to keep these sick monkeys fed and alive instead of letting this defect die out producing more and more sick monkeys.

A lot of the other low rankers have friends but Tina no..i think its because she's so nervous around other monkeys shes always looking around to make sure shes not treading on anyones toes so to speak..she has her oldest daughter Trina but shes not always about abd her son Tiny who more than likely move out of his trooo to find his own way in life..i try not to think about it otherwise Id never rest🇬🇧💞👍🙉🐵🐒🙊🙈
I had to quit watching Teeny because I just got SO TIRED of the poor little girl getting mouth raped by Tina DAILY, it was just too frustrating!!! I made it 10 whole minutes without seeing it, though it first GLIMPSE I got of Tina's face, I INSTANTLY wanted to put my foot through it! I CANNOT STAND that horrible mother, and I LOVE monkeys! She seems to be the ONLY monkey that just makes my blood BOIL at one glimpse. Glad to see Teeny got probably twice the size she was when I quit viewing, but I must part here at 10 minutes, so that she doesn't get me all pumped up from watching her manhandle Teeny. Best of luck little Teeny, I'm rooting for you!

Yes, Tina does steal their food which adds insult to injury. It still doesn't account for their extremely small stature, birth weight, failure to thrive, & missing their developmental milestones. Both of them had the exact same set of symptoms, circumstances, & ultimately the same outcome as babies. Even the developmental delay on top of it all played out similarly. Factor in that it's been duplicated in her offspring, plus her own odd yet similar behavior & it really begins to look like a condition or syndrome of sorts. Read between the lines. Those kinds of things happening over & over again aren't coincidences. It's sad. 😢 It's also a shame I'll never know what's causing it since there's no wild monkey doctor to administer tests in a monkey hospital, lol. Jokes aside, it would be interesting to know the origin of such a defect/mutation in their genetics. Even if they're considered nuisance animals & pests. I'm curious to see how it plays out with subsequent generations. Teeny like Tiny will catch up to her peers in due time. Right now she's just taking a bit longer like her brother. Although I do think they'll always be a bit slower than the rest. He still struggles to find his place & socialize correctly. I'll sympathize when it's time for him to leave his natal troop. At least she gets to stay with the family, he sadly can't. Hopefully he'll be all caught up by then. Fingers crossed & hoping for the best!! With the cards stacked against them since birth they could sure use a darn break from the universe!!
There was another baby monkey that had similar symptoms to Teeny & Tiny. Only this poor baby was doomed from the start being born in some literal trash heap or dump in Cambodia (I think?) Her name was Heidi. She even had the same fingers & toes curled under. Although her condition seemed far more severe due to malnutrition. Have you seen, or were you familiar with her situation? I think WLA intervened but, sadly she still didn't make it.
The worst part is you’re probably right but humans are interfering to keep these sick monkeys fed and alive instead of letting this defect die out producing more and more sick monkeys.

A lot of the other low rankers have friends but Tina no..i think its because she's so nervous around other monkeys shes always looking around to make sure shes not treading on anyones toes so to speak..she has her oldest daughter Trina but shes not always about abd her son Tiny who more than likely move out of his trooo to find his own way in life..i try not to think about it otherwise Id never rest🇬🇧💞👍🙉🐵🐒🙊🙈

I had to quit watching Teeny because I just got SO TIRED of the poor little girl getting mouth raped by Tina DAILY, it was just too frustrating!!! I made it 10 whole minutes without seeing it, though it first GLIMPSE I got of Tina's face, I INSTANTLY wanted to put my foot through it! I CANNOT STAND that horrible mother, and I LOVE monkeys! She seems to be the ONLY monkey that just makes my blood BOIL at one glimpse. Glad to see Teeny got probably twice the size she was when I quit viewing, but I must part here at 10 minutes, so that she doesn't get me all pumped up from watching her manhandle Teeny. Best of luck little Teeny, I'm rooting for you!
