Thick sku(i)ll, double pain, thrill seeker, and hard mode IS hell mode, even without Gusto, since to do a superguard you need to do frame perfects EVERYWHERE

@@Ezlemonade with the thrill seeker, thick skull, double pain, hard mode setup i am stuck at the cruel king in demo 1 bc of the Ice Dagger attack, the Scepter Strike is pretty easy to superguard, but the "freeze" attack from cruel king with 1/4 superguard blocking window is like, impossible, since there is a few nanoseconds (1/10 if a millisecond) where Cruel King pierces the body and you need to block at like 50%. Any tips on the ice dagger attack?

@@cat0987-UTTD Try dodging when the dagger touches your torso. Also you can listen 4 the sound cue, it gets intense when it’s about to hit you. Pro tip: When you die and you don’t hear the error sound of the dodge it means you pressed it a bit late.

I had a long paragraph written out but I found it pointless. I feel like the nature of Gusto and Superguarding in general is a fascinating subject in terms of game balance and game challenge. There’s a lot more to be said but I think it’s enough just to think about.

Well kinda. Greed has insane dodging windows and Hatred….. if he hits you once with the red ball it’s Joe over 😔. It looks easy but it took me around 50 tries to do this challenge. I think demo 1 is the easiest.
