Mike Oldfield, who wrote this song, was born in Reading, a few miles up river from that bridge in Marlow. The bridge in Budapest and Marlow are the only two surviving which were designed by Clark.

When someone recommended this to me I was absolutely horrified that such a thing existed, as I grew up with the original. I listened to it, and much to my surprise I like it. It is a good cover.

I'm curious to know if 'metal' is as huge in Germany as I hear it is. Seems dance and pop is very popular. Are artists like Blutengel considered 'alternative?'

Do you know, that the singer tried to success in rock music before G.C. but those times it was vewry hard, so made this great dance-pop duo instead of? Blutengel? I think that is pure industrial music. And Chris Pohl's other band is an industrial metal band: Terminal Choice. The song: Don't Go by Yazoo - covered by him.
