I thought the piano was somewhat accurate to the changes. But when the piano player or horn player took certain liberties with chords they are communicating ideas i feel as if they were communicating ideas and patterns with the rest of the band... i wonder who wrote the arrangement

I wonder if this was the only Bill Evans tune played by the JLCO since its inception.
Blending's solo is intriguing to me in a way. It fascinates the way he approaches his solo on Very Early for some reason or another.
Watching in 2021, I looked up Joey Alexander and was in awe he was only 17. But this was recorded 5 years ago! He was 13 at the time, inspiring!
