Remember if using projectors and the beam pattern looks trash then you need to align the LED's pointing left and right (3 and 9 on the clock).

What about the splash cap? Do you put that back? Or modify it because the LED runs hot? Another video please 🙏🏾
No need really , led is usually >50W and halogen is usually 45/55W.
Same power going in, it will come out as heat and light in both cases, the halogen usually runs hotter.
Plus if you put holes in the cap or remove it your headlight will gather moisture which will ruin the internals.
You’d be dumb not to reinstall your splash cap, it’s common sense. If any water kicks up or gets behind the headlamp, it most likely will fry the driver for the LED
Какая мерзость эти лампы ,у них нет ограничений они светят и слепят на всём расстоянии, в деревне ладно а на трассе глаза начинают болеть.
Штатный свет у китайцев также слепит, даже ещё хуже. И галоген +200 и +300 , тоже слепит. Все лампы слепят.

Каждая фара проектируется под определенный источник света... И дело не с светотеневой границе а в коифециенте засветки. Кому интересно изучите вопрос.

A two sided led bulbs with small led diodes that matches the halogen filament will work wonders.
LED are the way to go.

Do you screw the housing cap back for these?
I'm not sure the housing has any air hole there for excess heat. Also, these have an integrated fan; how will air cool in a sealed compartment?

I just got new LEDs to replace my halogen but I can’t get the dust cap back on???
Maybe it’s because it’s too big.
U need an all in one compact led bulbs.

How are you supposed to adjust to 3-9 position in projection lens if they lock into place?
most leds have an adjustment that moves only the led but not the rest of the housing
It's legal to do something like that. I believe you don't have led mark on headlights

Can you keep 4WD trucks from installing them. They are already annoyingly bright and when they are up high on a 4WD its even worse.

I try twisting mine on there and they won’t turn all the way. I’ve tried testing them multiple times but nothing seems to work
If u own a German car, get a PWM module. Pulse with modulation.
That will help stabilize ur led bulbs.

There’s none 😂😂😂 most LED aftermarket are not suited for public road usage 🙄 if you want to buy one homolgated for public roads expect to pay the premium price not like 30€ , I have on my car a set of homolgated osram ones and costed like 150€
@@paulandreichitez5654 if your car has halogen by factory, you can put whatever homologated leds you want, it will still be illegal. That beeing said, I really want to buy a H4 led for my motorcycle😂

Да и здесь не показывают что крышка теперь не закроется.
Даже если закрыть, то не будет нормального охлаждения.
Die in Deutschland zugelassenen H4/H7 LEDs von Osram sind angegeben mit 19 Watt. Halogen dagegen 55 Watt. Also kein Problem von der Wärme her.
Halogen bulbs are way hotter. Because they get hot as 750 degrees Fahrenheit.
Led bulbs can get between 97-300 degrees. Depending on how bright the led diode is, and how hot or cooled the external or internal driver is.

Hat in Deutschland wegen der Blendwirkung keine Zulassung. Betriebserlaubnis erlischt. Versicherung nimmt bei Unfall Regress. Man braucht spezielle Scheinwerfer. 😮
Kann man so pauschal nicht sagen. Es gibt 2 Hersteller, Osram und Philips, die für BESTIMMTE FAHRZEUGE mit Scheinwerfern, die eine bestimmte Prüfnummer des KBA haben müssen, LED-Leuchtmittel herstellen. Dann müssen diese LEDs in einer autorisierten Fachwerkstatt mit einem computerunterstützten Lasermessgerät eingestellt werden. Habe das bei meinem Audi A2 nachgerüstet, einstellen lassen, da blendet nichts. ABE muss ins Handschuhfach!

Well out an anti-flicker or decoder on between the led bulb connector and the ur factory wire connector.

They are not rubbish just too powerful for your car
Ur led bulb is fine. It happens for German cars.
What u need is a PWM module, that hooks between ur led bulbs and ur factory wire connector.
After that, ur led bulbs will be fine.
This happens on German cars a lot.

Hey I purchased two pairs of led low beam lights.
1. Watt 60w (30w/ bulb) & Lumens 6000LM
2. Watt 50w (25w/ bulb) & Lumens 5000LM
I obviously want high visibility but dont want to blind on coming drivers - what do you suggest?
Just get the led bulbs man.
Low beams will definitely will not blind others for that beam pattern.
For high beams u need to see better if it’s not enough for low beams in a very dark area.

Try Lasfit LA plus. Those are better.

@@InzemamZahidi911because we run with Lasfit on our Toyota and Scion models. It’s my most recommended brand.
I have H11 Lasfit - LD plus switchback
LA plus 9005 high beam.
My family’s 3rd gen Toyota Sienna with LA plus H11 low beam, LCair 9005 high beam.
And my brother in law’s 05’ 2nd gen Toyota Sienna has Lasfit - LC plus 9006 low beam and LA plus 9005 high beams.
It retains the same beam pattern as oem. With the correct two sided led bulbs, a nice center piece on top, and tiny little led chips matches the same halogen coil filament. U will not blind others. That’s a fact.
If u see those garbage led bulbs that has 3-4-5-6-8 sided led bulbs, a 360 degree led bulbs. Stay away from them.
Those are the ones that will blind others, and it will not focus the same beam pattern as oem.
Those are the ones u should stay away from them.
2 sided led as I described is the way to go.
If it has larger led chips like COB, those are also no good and they are too big to match the oem beam pattern.

We run with Lasfit, LD plus switchback, LA plus, LC plus, LAair, those are great high quality led bulbs with a very good price point.
No issue and haven’t got flashed by others.
As long as u get the right type of led to match the same beam pattern as oem. That’s no problem.

Wrong. It has an adjustable collar to fix the orientation for 3-9 o’clock.
Resisters get very hot! And their inside light!
No issues on that. Led bulbs inside and the external driver will be lean against the metal frame. It’s fine.
