Hi Adam, I noticed that the spire with the 8 or 9 chips underneath looked a little odd as the base of the spire was ‘floating’ above the map. Whilst browsing the Chip Theory Games website I noticed the following guidelines on the spires miniatures section: “The spire miniatures each have space for up to five upgrade chips underneath, with any additional upgrades placed on top.” I know how you like things to look neat and tidy! Looking forward to the showcase, hope it’s as entertaining as Too Many Bones, still my favourite of all your playthroughs! Andy
Thanks for the feedback Andy! I found it easier for the video to keep it all underneath. However, you’re correct that it certainly looks better also up top for chips over 5. I like the miniatures,l but they’re not necessary. Certainly help with the tower defence feel tho! See you in the next one :)
Can't wait to watch the playthrough! After a couple of solo "competitive" games to figure out the rules, this game still feels like a puzzle to be figured out to me.
Did you know in April their having another Kickstarter for a reprint of this game. Also some new factions. I am defiantly going to jump on board for that as I missed the first one.
FYI, in solo scenarios, you'll use the die for events, so you don't really need to put out the event deck. Well done on the setup! Love the miniature spires; they really add a lot to the game!

I got my copy the other day...I'll be out of traction in a couple more days :). Pretty heavy box...haven't dived in yet haha.
