Perhaps this is new to you people in north India here there is Gurukulam called SIVANANTA GURUKILAM where hundreds of young child who became orphans of deeded by parents is taking care and the also collected foods from public
From all parts of city through the donated van feed the child for over 40 years. They also collect cloths, money wherever you to any shops,malls theater hospitals business establishments you will find a box collecting funds for these children

Hi sir....you guys are doing excellent work...sir I m not sure if you know there's one more NGO who works on same concept, feeding India. And I m associated with them.what I observed is there's a lot of cooked food got wasted in hotels n corporate parks, and they want to donate but they are afraid of downside risk that what if someone got sick...they don't want to get into any trouble. On top of that there's no upside benefits like tax benefit or anything which some other countries have. So if somehow we can work around this issue, I think we can save much more food n lots of people can be saved from sleeping hungry.

spiritually speaking ...Feeding the hungry is a great humanitarian and noble gesture. May sound radical .....But with all that feeding we expect people to stand up for their rights and move towards SANITY .rarher than just produce garbage after eating:)
