As a massive fnaf fan it's really fun to see you talk about how sadistic William is, because he is way worse in the games.
And the books just … describe everything even worse somehow .
Is William Mr. Purple?
yes@@videohistory722
@@videohistory722 yes, William is purple guy
@@videohistory722 william is purple guy but michael is literally purple guy
"If Chuck E Cheese was haunted," is the original inspiration for this franchise 😂😂
Fr lol
And I love this concept, because animatronics are logically a breeding ground for horror.
No it wasn’t. Game journalists/reviewers said the characters in Scott Cawthon’s previous game “chipper and sons lumber company” looked like scary animatronics, and then he made a game based on that.
It was more Show Biz Pizza.
not quite, critics said that the characters in scott cawthon(the creator of fnaf)'s old game moved and looked like creepy animatronics so he made fnaf
William Afton in the story line is the man who started it all. He started the restaurants, the killing, the animatronics, all of it. When he opened fazbears pizzeria, he would put on the yellow bunny costume and lure kids into the back room to kill them. When he killed the five kids, he stuffed them into the animatronic suits of freddy, bonnie, foxy, chica, and the 5th one was golden Freddy (which is the one who went to go get Abby at her house I believe). The children then posses the suits and look for revenge against the one person who killed them, William Afton. Going against them, afton decided to hop in his suit, only for it to spring lock and crush him. Thinking he’s dead they lock him to rot inside the pizzeria, but as he said (and actually said it in the games, which is why it’s so iconic) “I always come back”.
Also in the official lore, Mike is actually Aftons son, so it surprised a lot of people when Vanessa ended up being his daughter, since in the story/games she’s just the security guard at the pizzaplex (security breach)
You missed some of the lore
@@Lillilikk well I wouldn’t be able to explain all of it w/o making it 1000 miles long so sorry for not including some💀
Is Afton Mr. Purple?
@@videohistory722 in the theory, yes, he is known to be purple guy. Although some people thought it might be Mike , William Afton makes the most sense due to some scenes shown in mini games/ cut scenes
Trust me Lakia, watching this movie was a good place to start of fresh, but if you decide to watch any lore explanation videos...
You're in for a ride!
Omg yes if you watch any lore vids pls take us on the journey with you as well😂😭, Game Theory is honestly probably the easiest place to start, as "they were the first, they have seen everything"(if u guys catch this reference from Chica in the games lol)
I believe this is its own universe compared to the games and books (yes books 😧) but has more in-common with the book series. The whole lore for the games takes like 8 hours to explain 😭 not to mention most lore we do know are just fan-made theories mashed up together. If you really want to know more I suggest watching Game Theory :D
There is a ten minute video that explains all the lore
@@TheMissingRat one version of the lore 😭
That 8 hour lore video I think you’re referencing is *chefs kiss* and has changed the way I perceive the fnaf lore. It’s got me on a kick replaying/rewatching them all.
the first 3 games not the books. this is in the game universe
It is but Alternate Universe Story’s when it comes to this franchise still contain lore so about 90% of this movie is accurate to the games
The fact that you instantly guessed the kids being the kidnapper’s other victims is wild
There’s so much lore it’ll hurt your head 😂 been a fan of Fnaf since the beginning, they did a good job with the movie, made us fans happy for sure and since it’s doing good, bet the second movie will even better
you're one of the most observant blind reactors I've seen so far, its so satisfying. most I've seen didn't even make the connection between the missing kids and the animatronics until it's explained, and don't ever realize that there are 5 kids and 4 main animatronics. this is one of my favorite reactions
The FNAF lore is actually so crazy, the only reason I'm in the know is I have 2 younger siblings who loved the crap out of this franchise. They have all the books and watch Game Theory but I found myself still enjoying the story as well - critics suck at realizing sometimes movies are just made with a specific audience in mind and that's okay.
I also think this a great kid's intro to horror even if the entire theme of it is really dark, its very fitting for Gen Z/Gen Alpha's weird interests lol.
Nah cause, Why did I read crazy as cozy at first 😂😂😂😂
Glad you enjoyed it, Lakia. Thanks for your reaction.
The movie does a good job from taking inspiration from much of the games and books mythology to craft a simpler narrative fit for film.
“is there lore “ lol yes this movie doesn’t even cover half of it and the movie covers the basics of the lore kids kidnapped and stuffed into animatronics and william afton being the mastermind behind it but it does have different details than the games like vanessa doesn’t have any correlation to william other than a devoted follower but this was a good watch welcome to the rabbit hole of fnaf
Honestly I loved this movie, I’ve seen it twice in the cinemas so far and while it’s not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, I absolutely loved the attention to the lore (for the most part), to the animatronics’ designs, and the casting of Josh Hutcherson AND Matthew Lillard. A lot of FNAF fans are William Afton fangirls and RABID about the character… it’s going to increase with the casting of Matthew Lillard 💀 (understandably, he’s an absolute DILF). I’m really excited to see what the sequel does - it’s supposed to be a trilogy of films so I’m SUPER excited!
If you're interested in Fnaf lore, I recommend watching "Game Theory: Five Nights at Freddy's SCARIEST Monster is You!" The lore is massive, but this is a pretty good introdoction to it, since it's self-contained. The story it tells is compelling and bone-chilling.
In the game from what I remember William had 3 kids Micheal, C.C (crying child), and Elizabeth. He killed Charlie, Cassie, and the main 4 (whose names I don’t remember). There is Golden Freddy, Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy, and the Puppet. In the game crying child died due to a prank by his brother on his birthday, than Elizabeth died due to an animatronic, later Micheal died due to the scooper. Vanessa is more like a helper/ follower for William not his daughter. Abby in the books is the same instead of befriending the main four she ending being friends with William in bunny form. From what else I remember he was killing the kids for a type of chemical to help him become immortal. That’s all I remember
( This is based off my memory and this may be incorrect or some parts might be different that others.)
But that I remember for FNAF games and books.
The start of this movie takes place on the 6th of April 2000. The first person you're meant to see in the film, the first night guard, is Markiplier. You should know who he is but he couldn't make time for that cameo as he's directing his own film 'Iron Lung'. At the restaurant scene, the server that you see is MatPat, owner of a lot of Theory YT channels :D he's great! 7:06 This is, not Freddy's but, 15:54 Golden Freddy's popular phrase.
Showing that Foxy's outside the office means that he's already been inside and done the damage to Mike's arm. Chica's a chicken! I love the pans being rattled as the distraction for Carl to look away from the fridge as that's the sound she makes in the first game when Chica's in the kitchen and Carl ate Carl is funny because it's the human and the cupcakes name. Besides Freddy each animatronic get's a reference to FNaF 1 with every kill: Chica distracting with the pans, Bonnie in the supply closet and Foxy Running down the left hall! CoryxKenshin, let's GO!!! I love Cory. 21:14 He Always Comes Back! 21:44 He will now be left to rot and decay there for 30 years :)
P.S I've been there since the start of FNaF so the end credits song being The Living Tombstones' Five Nights at Freddy's. It's amazing!
The creator of the FNAF series is a deeply Christian man, I think that adds even more layers to his story and the games :) It's also nice that this was a family friendly horror movie! No sex or tits out just for the fun of it, so refreshing.
“Family friendly” is an interesting description of a film where the main antagonist is a child killer who shoved the corpses of his victims into animatronics 😂
Thanks for this info,Jesus loves you 🧸💕✝️
@@alwaysahiccupandastrid Yeah, I couldn't think of another way to word it 😂 I did watch this movie with my family, but it was a 13+ movie for a reason.
How does being deeply Christian have anything to do with how much layers there are to a story and a game
@@demonwalrus5032 It's a unique perspective he's coming from. Atheists and Non-Christians might not get certain things from the story that a Christian would.
I JUST FINISHED WATCHING FNAF, idk how to feel about it so a mini rewatch will probably help me form an opinion, so glad you uploaded this rn💗💗
Girl, in the Fnaf universe, kids got a 8/10 chance of dying horribly. We all knew Garrett wasn’t gonna make it the moment we saw him in the car.
I think the ghost kids genuinely wanted to be friends with Abby, but William probably like put the idea of killing Abby so she stays with them forever in their heads and they're like "Yeah! Thats an awesome idea :D". Since the movie says hes got influence over them.
As for why he didn't put Vanessa in one of them. He probably found her more useful alive.
I too knew nothing about fnaf until me and a few friends went to watch it on the 28th. Now I’m kind of intrigued since they told me about the lore
Just saw this movie so happy to see you reacting to it your videos bring me happiness
Thank you 🫶🏾❤️
There is lots of lore to unpack with FNAF, and if you choose to ever watch videos unpacking the lore of the games that is a series of reaction videos I know I would love to watch.
Mat Pat’s videos on the lore are a fun watch if you ever want to look into the franchise more.
Matthew Lillard aged so well you are so right😌
“I need a happy ending for Garret” 😭😭😭😭🥲 poor girl
🥲
Okay i'm sorry but all throughout the video with you asking questions and not knowing whats going on, I'm over here like "you would know if you played the games"😂
Nah.
Actually not except Golden Freddy i guess.
ahhhh I'm so happy you reacted to this 🥰🥰🥰🥰 hearing that you liked the movie overall as a newbie to FNAF is so reassuring to hear because that means that they nailed it!!! thank you for reacting 💖💖✨️☺️
I saw this in the theaters last weekend and I enjoyed the new spooky 👻 movie.
There’s a character in the games referred to as “The Puppet” or “The Marionette” who was William Afton’s first victim and a vital character in the lore. My theory is that in the movie lore, the puppet will be possessed by Garrett, and will make his debut in the next movie. Originally it’s a girl named Charlie who was the daughter of William Afton’s business partner Henry Emily. She’s the one who gave life to the animatronics and who protects them from Afton. I believe the puppet can be found in a couple scenes in the movie in the background, and their song plays at the end credits (which gave me Vietnam flashbacks 😂). Just a little insight for ya, hope it helps!
you missed a secret message near the end of the end credits!! it's a really a important detail for the future movies :)
Oh really I’ll have to go back and see
i just watched this movie in theatre today! i enjoyed it as a casual fnaf fan and a big josh hutcherson fan 😋
The fact that Lakia's literal reason to watch this is cuz of Peeta AND Cory. Girl, same. Plus, i haven't watched Peeta in any movie lately so, yea
The yellow bear you saw is golden freddy he doesn't walk around he's sometimes teleports
“Tickling is dangerous, bro. Tickling literally hurts sometimes.”
THANK YOU! If I ever had a kid, I wouldn’t subject them to that. I hated it when I was a kid.
coming from someone who watched it and knows very little abt the lore, this movie could’ve been better, could’ve made the graphics of the Animatronics more terrifying, but other than that i enjoyed it
can i ask what do you mean about the graphics of the animatronics? it was actually costumes except for foxy. bonnie, chica, and freddy were real people inside of the costumes, and i’m pretty sure no cgi was used on all of them.
@@SinStevie I think they mean make them more menacing which I agree with, they felt more menacing in the games than the movie
@@Neo-Queenserenityt2l I think it's mostly the ambientation. They are more menacing through the cams.
The animatronics are exactly like the games, and for the most part they’re actual animatronics, not CGI. There’s videos of the cast/crew and some TH-camrs meeting the animatronics. The Faz-Crew are by far one of the best parts of the film
@@Neo-Queenserenityt2l this is what i meant!! it wasn’t as scary as i thought it would be.
I'm a FNAF fan since 2014, i played the games and read the books, i can assure you that William Afton is the pure embodiment of evil.
edit: He will come back, he always does.
21:55 “is there lore to this”
Dont get me started. I will pull up a 16+ slide powerpoint with graphs and charts
Oooo the times where people called Chica a duck instead of a chicken. Hated those times 😂😂
The face shredding thing is an extractor! I remember because my little brother gave me the whole run down before the movie. I’m scarred 😚
When I tell you Garrett’s death in the games is sooo much more gruesome and graphic. He’s murdered on his sixth birthday by Mike and his friends after tormenting him the whole day and as a joke they place his head inside of one of the animatronics mouths and his tears loosen the spring locks and clomp down on his head. It’s known as the Bite of 83
"So...is there lore to this" Well, yes...but way more than you might expect.
William Afton always comes back 😈
Man is freaking evil at the same time man is COMPLICATED AF
Abby is an acronym for Baby btw.
It’s about Time You Watch The Fnaf Movie 🎉🎉🎉
This is the part where we tell you to watch every playthrough by Markiplier or Dawko and every theory video by MatPat. 🤣
7:51 where’s your instrument lollll 😂😂😂😂 I love ur content

Oh girl I came home to a treat I’m excited For this one I had a phase …… we don’t gotta talk about it
FNAF fans watching NON FNAF fans watching the movie: here we go this poor person is about to be scared for life
Game theory has an entier playlist of theory they made as the games were coming out (the 1st game is like 9 years old now) & the books too
Loved your reaction was ver fun.
Honestly if you want to get the full understanding of the story and lore behind the series you should watch Game Theories latest videos talking about the time line of the Five Nights at Freddie’s timeline. Would definitely recommend it if you are confused on some thangs.
If you're interested, I do highly recommend doing a reaction video about an introduction to the actual story
We're all here for our man Josh 😩
As a fnaf fan, thank you for reacting to this movie😊
The kid with the blonde hair is portrayed to be Golden Freddy(the animatronic that went to their house to get Abby). That is why he said "not freddy". I also really loved your reaction to this movie!
When he said “Michael smi-“ he also meant Mike’s father who worked for him
I knew nothing bout fnaf but I watched the the movie and got into the lore and lemme tell you it is F**KED
It's called he called golden freedy
The lore is massive and the rabbit is called springtrap a walking corpse now.😂
You should've seen this in the theaters. (Though I do gotta admit I do want to see this reaction)
Me back for another one even though I literally had to pray so I wouldn't dream about being backstabbed by Ghostface from the last video🙉😭😅
😂😂😂
Lol,Jesus loves you 🧸💕✝️
You should play the games!!!! Or at least react to the lore theory videos!
Even further to the end, you can hear a voice spell out Come Find Me
There is a message in the ending of the credits, "Come find me"
The fifth kid was probably golden freddy
he intro and im rolling alr
the kid:EAHAHAHAHHHH
Her:*Dry lil*Ahh
I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TO WATCH RHIS OMG
The yellow rabbit is SpringTrap.
It's actually spring bonnie. Springtrap is more green and more on the worn out look.
@@Meg63826 Spring bonnie just became Springtrap right at the end
Idk if someone said this Vanessa is Vanessa form fnaf security breach(ithink) if you don't know what that is, search it up (I'm a bad explainer)
girl i am so surprised how you get the plot of so many movies so fast, i want that intuition
We had the exact same reaction during this movie 😂 I can’t wrap my head around how many kids love these games cause it’s so dark 😭😭
If u actually wanna get deep into this I would recommend watching Game theory it's a channel on TH-cam and fun fact the waiter that says "thats just a theory" in the movie is the guy who runs the channel...ANYWHO FNAF is a franchise with HEAVY lore it's come a really long way since 2014 seeing that now it'sa whole movie just trips me out
😂😂😂 the way you call him a short king. But this man is my whole teenhood and childhood ❤❤❤❤
Same
Like the others, i recommend the Game Theory videos by Matpat...
And a little fun facts:
Rememer the When a waiter talks about a Theory about breacfasts? THAT'S MATPAT HIMSELF!
The name of the Cafe "Sparky" it's a refference to a fake Who tells was a secret animatronic in FNAF1 named Sparky the dog.... And yes, they make it real for the movie at the partes and services room
Hi big fan!
1. Umm for your first question, yes they wanted Abby but not for the yellow bunny but to put her in another animatronic so she can be like them. They were basically doing William Afton's occupation by kidnapping kids and putting them into the animatronic.
2.YES, Very sick. And also, im not so sure but im pretty sure why he didn't put his daughter Vanessa in one is because like it's either that since he is a FATHER, he wouldn't like actually be a maniac and kill his daughter and put her in the animatronic. Or it's becuase if/when he dies, he'd want Vanessa to take over his job of kidnapping children. (this is only for the movie btw but for the game/whole lore, i'm still processing it.
😭
I advise you to watch the video "fnaf everything you need to know" which explains the history of the games, just a few things to remember before watching the video, in the film Vanessa is the daughter of William and Mike, Garret and Abby do are not, well in the games it's the opposite, Vanessa is not the daughter of William and Mike, Garet and Abby are, then in the games we don't know the first name of the character Garret (because yes most have a different first name) so he is called "The Crying Child" and Abby in the games is called Elisabeth, also the video is outdated but it is to date the most accurate video on the history of fnaf which exist
I enjoyed seeing the guy from scream 1
what scared me the most was knowing the kids BODIES were still inside of the animatronics 😭
I wish the movie was anything like the lore nobody can answer your questions because its not cannon
And also at 2:22 the book is an easter egg about a real theory about how the franchise is a child that got there head bit off's dream
I was flabbergasted when they said 5 kids went missing I got déjà vu because the news said 5 kids went missing from Chuck E Cheese 💀
I watched the movie yesterday
Happy Halloween 🎃 👻
the lore really isn't as complex as people say it is
How so? , I’m new here.
@@Luvrenebebe it’s easy to follow
Two guys start pizzeria
One of them kills children and puts them in the animatronics
He gets turned into an animatronic
His son tries to kill him
The other owner guy teams up with the son to kill every animatronic
Main killer guy comes back and dies again and Freddy Fazbear contributed nothing to the story
True. If you watch a few videos / read about it, you can understand quite easily.
it's not so much the lore that's complex as it is just the amount of theories it's composed of, most of which are contested. like people still argue to this day about who we play as in the very first game.
In the og spring trap( yellow rabbit) has three kids if I remember right and they all went into suits
If you want lore to this series. Watch MatPat's ultimate timeline for fnaf
Have a Tumblr story on me. Not mine:
"Thinking about the time they sent me a seven year old autistic patient to investigate if he was suffering abuse because in every psychological test he kept drawing awful monsters.
I start the consultation already miserable as fuck and I give the kid some pen and paper so I can maybe communicate and see what's on his mind, and then I go WAIT A GODDAMN SECOND I KNOW THOSE MONSTERS.
Turns out the kid just had a special interest in Five Nights at Freddy's.
I pointed at the monster and went "That's Freddy!" and I've never seen a kid that ecstatic in my life.
The mom looked at me as if her son and I belonged at the same satanic cult and that's why I knew the names of the demons in his head.
I wrote back to psychologist like "I'm not sure how to explain this but looking up five nights at freddys might bring you progress with this patient".
Btw the yellow bear with the one blue eye is golden Freddy, the soul's name is Cassidy
Yes... there is BIG TIME LORE when it comes to FNAF... and it would be Awesome if you'd do a Watch & Review of all ~4 Parts~ of MatPat's "Game Theory: FNAF THE ULTIMATE TIMELINE". Your reactions alone would be worth a Gazillion Fazz Coins!!!!!
oh my god! girl this game had 14 yr old me coming up with crazy theories for the game. If you think william was bad in the movie, he is way worse in the games. the whole story of fnaf is really sad. if you do want to gain a better understanding of the story definitely watch some lore videos!
Fun fact: if you pause at the right time you can actually see Foxy standing when mike goes to the breaker at 7:09
Bro yessss fanff❤❤❤❤ it the best movie
If im being honest this movie ain’t rlly match up with my perspective of the lore, but we also don’t know much lore about the game because Scott Cawthon(game creator) hasn’t rlly explained much lore. Only characters we’ve heard of is Mike, William Afton, Vanessa, and the robots..In canon lore Michael is William’s son and Vanessa is William’s “side kick” I recommend watching fnaf lore videos for better context
Last two security guards got knocked TF out 😂 (Friday After Next)
This all makes sense in the movie its all the movies together cuz "VANAESSA"
actually it wasn’t inspired by chucy e cheese it was inspired by scott’s old games
20:54 I saw this movie a month ago.
In love with fnaf
Did not expect a reaction this fast
I strongly believe that this movie is modern kids version of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' 🐰
Girl there is hella lore the fastest way to know is if you watch Game Theory FNAF timeline but the movie is a mix of its own story and game lore.
And I pretty sure that it was made after Chuck e cheese
Ngl I’m very confused.
Disclaimer: I haven’t watched the actual movie, just what’s in this video! But I know the actual game lore or at least like 95% of it up until Pizzaria Simulator (idc about Vanessa/Vanny stuff tbh 💀)
So… Mike and William are not related in the movie? Probably because I enjoy the game’s story so much I’m not too much of a fan of these changes but I’ll always like how good the animatronics look for this movie.
It just feels a bit jarring when there isn’t really an Afton family and they’re all British etc etc. yknow?
I don’t hate the movie or anything, I haven’t watched it in full without someone’s commentary or without the footage being trimmed ofc but from what I do know about it, I simply have mixed feelings.
I just love that FNAF is getting recognition to a level that it gets a film ✨
[Ofc my “perfect” FNAF movie would be a reenactment of the games with a ton of horror and suspense probably bc I grew up on it and wanna relive that. But I can understand making a film that isn’t so canon heavy towards the game because it would be the most confusing shit to someone who knows NOTHING. Even fans of the games still don’t know all of the lore, I get it.]
this is a different Mike, this was Mike Schmidt (the guard u play as in the first game) not Michael Afton, i think.
@@rem_kaii yeah I heard about that but I thought Mike Schmidt in the games was just a cover name so people didn’t know he was Mike Afton? Unless that’s one of those inconsistent lore things that isn’t proven to be true or not. It can be confusing.
From my understanding it was a cover name in the games. I’m assuming in the movie they decided to literally make a Mike Schmidt rather than Michael Afton pretending to be a “Mike Schmidt.”
@@phxsqhenes i also saw somebody say that the creator doesn't want the lore of the movie to be the same as the one ongoing within the games, and some says the movie lore has more connections to the books than the actual games. Tbh I'm not sure of anything lol it's very complex, hurting my brain 😭
@@rem_kaii valid. I get it lol. I could understand wanting to kinda do something separate and more related to the books. I’ve never read them personally so idk that lore. I always found myself favoring the game’s story and lore from 1-6
8:59 that chicken

@@LakiaJaiTV it's OK, back in 2014 people said Chica was a duck too, and when i mean people i mean almost all of them
