This is the kind of talk that Nigerians and Ghanians should be discussing on social media not the trending hatreds...it remains on record that while Nigeria is the first country on the African continent to win FIFA world u17 cup and Olympic football male gold medal, Ghana remains the only African country that has won the FIFA World u20 cup! Ride on brothers!

    • @yawos9024

Ghana was the first country to win a medal in Olympic football. Nigeria is yet to show up in the World Cup Quarterfinal. Above all, no other African country has won the U20 World cup save Ghana. If you want to bring up accolades, Ghana has a lot more notable ones.

@@yawos9024 no one is doubting that Ghana was the first to win medal at the Olympic rather I was making reference to the fact that Nigeria and Ghana are good representatives of Africa at global football level..I don't have time for your bragging because I know people like you, so enjoy your bragging

Gabriel Agbonlahor was another player who turned down Nigeria, while perhaps waiting for England. What happened? I'm sure he's regretting it. What some of these players don't realize is that a country like England will give you a couple of games, which will render you ineligible to play for any other country ever, then dump you.

Good job bro…Toni Kroos succeeded because European football agents work for the interest of the players and their countries…African football agents work for their stomach infrastructures…They usually take our talented youngsters to Europe, collect little agent fees and abandon them…They do not care about the mental and psychological health of our young players in foreign clubs…Without support, these youngsters, in foreign countries become depressed and lose the passion for football…Any career pursued without passion is like driving a car with flat tyres, it won’t get one far…Once abandoned in foreign countries by greedy African football agents, these young players give up after battling depression….This is a serious problem and must addressed by CAF, FIFA , and other concerned organizations…

Crouch is talking nonsense. Lookman was written off by premier league teams, despite good displays and goals, they mainly used him as a substitute. His confidence was so damaged that he rightly decided to move to Germany. His career and confidence did not take off until after he joined the Nigerian team. His arrival at Atalanta coincided with his decision to play for Nigeria, his first Nigeria match was the WCQ against Ghana where he was responsible for the equalizing penalty decision against Ghana and almost provided a match-winning assist with a pass to Osimhen that resulted in a VAR-disallowed goal.
He was allowed more flexibility in the Nigeria team, while Premier league clubs tried to use him as an out-and-out winger, Nigeria's coach Peseiro saw his value as an inverted winger, which is where he is most dangerous. He says it himself, Nigeria gave him the confidence he was lacking that has turned him from a journeyman footballer to a prospective star.

Relocating from Africa and settling in a foreign land is difficult. The language, weather, food, mentality, friends, and other things are different from what you are used to. You have to acclimatise before you can really start living again. Yet, you are in a competition with someone who is born and raised there. Naturally, they will be favoured by selectors since they have a competitive advantage over their foreign teammates. The foreigners must be ten times better than their competitors to even stand a chance. Those who sit in their comfort zone globally don't see these things but can criticise. You will never understand until you come close to it. Repect to every foreign sport person out there, especially Africans.

They choose to slave for these European countries who show very little love to them after the best years of the players lives is the given to the European countries. See what happened to Bukayo Saka when he missed a penalty in the last European tournament, they forgot that he was one of their best players in the tournament. The list goes on.

Those players also don't help themselves! They have senior colleagues who could guide them but sometimes they are greedy for money as I think Crisantus went to Hamburg in the Bundesliga after that U17 world cup and started to struggle there!
I remember Japan 1993, Wilson Oruma was highly sought after and ran to Ligue un ,while Nwankwo Kanu went to Ajax academy following advice of Finidi George!Few months later LVG decided he was good enough to play in the first team and joined other youngsters like Seedorf,Kluivert etc and the rest was history!
Sometimes ignorance and greed are the issues with players who need to understand that even the foreign players who are lucky to be born abroad and train in well funded academis also struggle!
I wonder how many teammates of Kroos from that world cup actually became successful?
I'm sure they won't be up to 5 that you recognise their names today!

I have watched your video on several occasions on different issues in football and have seen that you are an honest Ghanaian.
    Keep it up.
Peter Crunch lacks respect for making such ugly comment on an African player Lookman.
The statement is an abuse on Africa as a continent and not Nigeria alone.
He has to apologize to the whole Africa.
England always hate black people and Crunch knows that fact.
England is a used and dumb county when it comes to an African player playing football for them.
They have done it to so many African players in the past.
Players like John Fashanu, Danny Welbeck, Tammy Abraham, Tomori etc all suffered and didn't end well playing for them.
They will soon dumb Ebere Eze who chooses to play for them no matter his quality.
Is England better than the likes of Nigeria, Ghana , Senegal, Egypt, Tunisia and other strong African football Nations at the moment?
What has England won or achieved recently in football?
They are overrated by their media.
Check EPL out and see how bad their officiating is compared to other European countries who are doing well in their leagues and National teams.
England is a Nation full of pride and proud people.
That's why I hate their National team.
They are too proud of themselves.
They are very busy doing nothing all the time.
    What does Peter Crunch know?
He should go to hell and petition Lookman for playing for Nigeria Super Eagles.
    Shameless Man.

It's good if they want to be patient. Not all those foreign-born are worth fighting for. God wants Lookman to shine because he rejected Naija countless times, good he had to re-think. England don't have good scouts I must say because nobody's at par with Lookman in that position he plays. Maybe he hasn't been consistent but They'd have spotted him long before now, I have watched this guy since he was in Everton, his ball control and instinct is commendable when you see a talent how can you be biased cos of the club he plays or no regular playing time?. Well now, he's got a better contribution than some(respectfully I won't mention names)

Thanks bro for this great job. England is overrated in all ramifications. They last won the World Cup in 1966, over 58 years ago, and still talked about it as if they won the last World Cup in 2022. Cristiano or Messi alone has more laurels in 15 years than the English national team in 60 years😂. Ask them what became of players (Justin Fashanu, Danny Welbeck, Gabriel Agbolahor, Tammy Abraham, John Fashanu, John Salako, Chris Armstrong,Nathaniel Chalobah,Herbert Rawson, etc) who waited for their call-up. Who is Peter Crouch to meddle in the affairs of African greats? Peter Crouch, who never won a single trophy with the English national team, having played for them for 8 years 😂. He wouldn't have made a starting eleven of a Ghanaian B team, let alone flanked legends like Abedi Pele, Tony Yeboah, Asamoah Gyan, Michael Essien, Thomas Patey, etc

Hello brother. The very first time I heard this statement I was furious. Peter Crouch is a hard-core racist. And he is conscious of it. The West believe that any top player must by default play for England & Co? But the question remains: Does the desire of the player not come first? Does his parents wish not count? The fact remains that if Ademola Lookman played for England he (and his family - parents and siblings) cannot receive the same love and respect as he receives playing in Nigeria. And this is true for every foreign-born player who decides to play for Africa. It brings much honor and respect not only to the players but to their family members. They experience a warmth and acceptance that they can never ever get playing for Europe. This is without even talking about the hatred and racism they throw towards them when they err. Peter Crouch is a racist.

What is the big deal about playing for England? Aren't there Nigerian players who are better than some of the players in the English squad? I hope Nigerians don't take this as a compliment because I find it so condescending. Did Didier Drogba play for France? Isn't he as decorated as many of the African-born French?

An black skin colour player who is an african, born in uk can only play for their u17, 20 etc but when it comes to national team such a player is no where to found, they prefer using their own skin colour player even though such a player doesn't whot for call up.
