If the team is undergoing rebuilding, there's a way of phasing senior players out, especially those who have given their all to the team. Asamoah Gyan is an example of a player who was not treated fairly in the national team towards the end of his career and that is something that authorities will need to re-look at and work on with Dede Ayew supposedly being the victim. One of the things in the future authorities can do is to organize testimonial matches to say thank you and goodbye them especially those who have contributed massively to the senior national team.
