I work night shift and blackout curtains are MAGIC. They also make curtain rods that are bent to an L shape to the wall, so the curtain can block all the way around!
With the diaper situation.... When my son was little like Emma he would sleep with us and sometimes wake up wet. When I went to check and change him he was wet like Emma but his diaper was dry🤔 these babies are magicians hahaha
If you're able to, leave your passports in a safe and have a copy of them with you (and leave a copy with someone at home too just in case). You're more likely to have it stolen/lost/dropped if it's on you.
Dogs don't actually go down where the luggage is. It's not safe. They stay on the floor of the seats. But if it's not a service or guide dog it'd be hard to even get them on a plane.
Actually, my family used to breed dogs and sometimes we would send them to a different state. If they aren't a service dog, they ride in the luggage compartment. We never had any problem with it, but I can see why it'd could be unsafe.
