He's literally playing honda in the safest way possible. Not even trying to sumo slam jump ins, apply sumo spirit, or even drive impact/rush--Just medium punch, heavy sumo headbutt, light hands, command throw in the corner, reversal level 1, rage level 3 repeat. And he STILL finds a way to fuck it up. 💀

He never tech's the fucking throws! Phil needs to stop claiming he's a former pro because he can't even tech simple throws! I can tech throws and I'm below average at this game! This is actually hilarious!
Phil just spams single specials like headbutt or fireball, single hits like MK or sweeps, doesn't link or chain good combos, and for the most part neglects the whole drive system. Whole matches with nothing above a 3 hit combo. He doesn't learn or even try. I watched him eat 6+ ex fireballs through his normal fireballs and instead of accepting those are the game mechanics, he just kept doing the same thing and complaining. It's like he has no awareness of fighting games at all. Not only do you have to do the right inputs (which i don't believe he's even doing), but you have to do them with the right timing. It's literally the foundation of all fighting games.
Idk how he managed to get to diamond rank and yet clearly still behave like an absolutely salty scrub. On an interesting note, low punishment for losing in rank is gonna keep him playing against higher skill players longer which means more salt for us to enjoy.
When you first boot up the game and go to play ranked, the game asks you what your skill level is, choosing a higher one, say advanced gives you a set amount of LP and then you play placement matches, even if you lose most of them you can end up pretty highly ranked. This is what DSP did, thinking he is better than he is
