Apparently the director left that cliffhanger of Maplewood talking to Shahara in 2023 as a potential setup for a S2. He wanted to leave a thread in case another season is approved. Oh and it’s pronounced “Hillinghead” not Hillingshead
Loved the show. Thinking deeper, how did Elias first become born? If it was him who influenced his own birth through Polly, wouldn't he never have been born if he hadn't been manufacturing his birth in the first place?
Aren't there two versions of everyone that travels? One sent to the past, one to the future. Which means there's Mannix that was sent 133 years to the future (2186), where he could plot further so it may explain KYAL sign in the end, as well as Maplewood in present time (and driving? Maybe she was able to get fixed without devices in 2186)
Exactly, I was thinking this too. Why was Defoe's body in 5 time periods and the other's just went once? He also said no free will, also what if Mannix did his plan 5 times, lol and they only stopped one? Sooooo many questions. lol
He was able to appear in 2053 because by 1941 he had already sired his son (Hayden) who would sire the rest of his family line that would lead to him being born - the him in 2023 that sets off the bomb.
@BreakingBinge if you like bodies this much please tell me you’ve watched dark, bodies is pretty clearly a dark ripoff, and even though I really enjoyed it still it is not even close to the level of show dark is. It’s definitely my top 2 shows of all time with mr robot, and probably #1, if you haven’t watched it you have to
@@nebnos Dark premiered in 2017. Bodies is based on a Vertigo (DC) comic from 2014-2015, so the only way it could be a ripoff of Dark is if there's time travel involved.
@@EmonEconomist There is time travel involved, it's the foundation of the Bodies story. It's still not a ripoff of dark though, The original "Bodies" comic released by Vertigo comics has the exact same characters an premise.

ahhh, didn't notice the lack of time travel mark on Iris, thanks for that.

True. I wonder if they will make season 2. Because there are a lot of theories and questions I have with Iris being in that cab lol

Noo if they changed the past then mannix just dont exist so there will be no mannix in 2053 that travelled to 1890 and ultimately to 2186 .
This is the comment I needed to confirm that I actually understood what I was watching
What a fantastic show… 5/5 stars.
Lmao the snowfall clip 😂 perfect. I couldn’t finish this show. The characters are interesting though. I might finish it.
Thanks. You should definitely finish the show
This show was so dam good 10/10
Well done.
Mannix was died in 1941 how he came up in 2053 doubt?
