I love how Cobi did the sharp angles on the front of the turret. I wish Cobi would make Merkava tanks again, the way the angles on this turret were done would work well on any of the Merkava variations.
Finally, a good model of a Leopard 2a5 or higher. I've seen a lot of lego models of the Leopard with this kind of turret and all of them were ugly, but Cobi did a very nice job with this one.
but its not the 2 A5 that is with the Bundeswehr, this is a prototype and test version for improvments to the 2 A4, it has the Turret with the new added armor but the hull is different, thats why its an TVM (Truppenversuch modell) Troop test model. I ordered it too, cant wait for it.
@@0H1N14ndr3as yes, but still, the model of the turret is still kinda ugly from Xingbao as well (I know the model, but I still dislike it). This one from Cobi looks very nice.

@@bogdanandrei2426 oh well as MOC ... well there are a lot of different brands, such as. Xingbao that have the leopard in their range and is seen more often than a MOC

Cobi tanks are pretty spot on, they just need slightly longer barrels. I sit here with my abrams wishing it came with like 1 more peg for barrel length lol
I know had the same problem. Until I removed it completely. Made it a mine clearer.

Der TVM ist im Vergleich zum 2A4 das deutlich hübschere Modell. Allerdings muss ich sagen der Turm könnte noch en Stückchen länger sein ist aber meine persönliche Meinung. Was mir sehr gut gefällt ist das MTU Triebwerk und die neuen Formteile für die Luken. Hoffentlich bringt Cobi auch irgendwann mal den 2A6 oder den 2A7 mit der langen Kanone.
Du kannst dir ja die längere Kanone selber bauen...
Ja die Kanone ist beim TVM bisschen kurz aba das kann man ja ändern
@@nifilux2269 Das stimmt man muss aber dafür auch die Teile parat haben.
@@RainbowSix_DE Beim TVM passt sie weil es ist ein 2A5. Die Rede war vom 2A6 und vom 2A7 weil die haben die längere Rheinmetall 120 L/55 verbaut.
@@wollewolf9510 Richtig, der A5 hatte noch die gleiche Kanone wie der A4, erst mit dem A6 gab es die längere.
Allerdings wirkt sie bei diesem Model wirklich etwas kurz und im direkten Vergleich mit dem Cobi A4 sieht man auch, dass sie zu kurz ist. Mal schauen, ob man die noch ein wenig verlängern kann. Das Model werde ich mir auf jeden Fall holen, schließlich habe ich knapp 2 Jahre auf dem A5 gedient. ;o)

I've just bought this set and it looks amazing. The problem is with the wheels - they don't roll too good because they are too tight (maybe a factory issue), so I had to take a screwdriver and try to grid the interior of some wheels (for like 6 or 7 wheels). Now the tank's threads roll very well.
Maybe you put them on the wrong way round. It's an easy mistake to make.

With the tracks, is it like the pressure the 2a4 needs or is it heavier ? I have got the 2a4 which works fine on the surface I use it on so I might buy it if it works

Honestly the tracks on this tank work better on a flat and smoot terrain and it can only turn on that type of terrain but still great tank

Ich kann die Version von xingbao bei bluebrixx empfehlen ist zwar ein 2a6 aber die ketten rollen besser was ich cool finde an dem von xingbao die haben da einfach Federung rein geballert was ich persönlich richtig cool finde 🙃 der Panzer is natürlich auch sehr geil

What a beauti. The zurret could be a bit longer but the tank is awesome. (I know that the 2a5 didn’t have that much of a turret)
Wenn ich gewusst hätte das der kommt hätte ich mir wohl das "DPM" Modell nicht gekauft 😩🤷🏼♂️
Aber ich stelle immer wieder fest das mir die Modelle mit den breiten Ketten doch irgendwie besser gefallen .Aber mal schauen denn ich muss noch den "Jumbo" und die neue "German Halbkette" bauen 😉
