So happy to see this family breaking stereotypes in the family home. He looks so happy to be a father and helps to give the impression/idea to the Korean audience that it isn't weird or not "manly" to be a father who stays at home most of the time. Most Asian societies still have the belief that men should be out working and the mother at home with the child.
Isn't that normal? It's THEIR son. Not HER son. My parents married in the early 90s and both are working. And my dad did most of the things for the baby, the kids while my mom recuperating from childbirth. Thus, I can't comprehend men who can't do household chores and take care of the kids just because they have jobs. I have a lot of respect for my dad especially for tolerating my mom's temper. 👀 P/s: Their baby is soo cutee!!
What a lovely loving family! I'm glad to see that they may be breaking stereotypes too about what a happy functioning family looks like! Henry is obviously well cared for. (And the cello! My youngest was born to the Bach Cellos Suites!)
2:59 I get they are making a point for the show, but the premise of the question is so farfetched - "Why are you watching the baby?". Essentially, why are you looking after/caring for your own son. It should be no more special for a dad than a mother to be doing this. Parenting is parenting. Anyone who thinks ensuring the basic wellness, happiness and survival of your own child somehow compromises a fundamental sense of masculinity is utterly pathetic and laughably immature.
Why are they surprised lmao those are the things stay at home parents do. If one person work and the other don't and stay at home then they gotta do the house work and child care??
I remember what ki taeyoung said in tros, a man can do parenting, babysit if he has interest on it, so theres no such thing as a husband and a dad cant do house chores and babysit his children. This man shows what ki taeyoung said.
If I were to have a husband like him you better believe our house would look like a dog sanctuary! I would want to adopt every single stray dog I could find
Wait. Was it translated wrong? The lady in the panel just said, "Maybe he needs water?" When the baby had hiccups!!!! Gee. All mothers know that giving an infant water is a no no! Gee..
why would they ask him why he's the one taking care of the baby? like seriously? i have the same arrangement with my husband the funny thing is he SAVE more than i do🤣🤣🤣and she's really lucky finding a husband like him, you can tell by him adopting those dogs..whoever is kind to animals especially those that's disabled have a pure hearth.
Both parents must look after the kids and the house. You are sharing a life after all. 🙂 And babies at that young age can be cared for by another rather then the mom as long as it is a stable and present person in their life. In families with 2 fathers the baby is cared for by a man too. 👨👨👦👬🏳️🌈 By two actually. Although I understand what she means if we intend to be breastfeeding mothers. However, formula works too and there are (in some countries, I don't know about Korea) breastmilk banks for babies. 😊
I don’t think he’s ugly personally. He’s not my personal preference, but he looks decent. They actually don’t necessarily find every white person good looking. The most popular white influencers there are very skinny and have a doll like appearance with both strong and soft features.
Beauty is but skin deep, there are more to a person then to have a beautiful face. Good manners maketh the man, he also is a man with a heart of gold, intellectual and he loves his family. Bad manners make one ugly. I've met beautiful people with ugly manners and they became ugly, I've met average looking people with beautiful souls and manners and they became more and more beautiful the longer you spend time with them.

What a happy baby! And those hiccups were so adorable. I hope the baby grows up happy and healthy. 💜
This is such a great family! The dad is being a dad to his son, just that, but still nice.
Henry's eyes are so beautiful.
Omg he is so cute😍i love him❤🌟

What a great father and cute baby.

Although things are gradually changing, this is the logic of most people in Asian countries atm - by Asia I mean the whole continent.
What a beautiful family!!! They are so precious! 🥺💚 I look forward to watch the entire episode!

The baby is so cute 😍
Why I'm crying here 😭
She thought he was from Scotland just because he plays the bagpipes 🤣
It's common in Scotland.

I click for the cute babies. 100 days old is about 4 months. My baby was eating solids by then. Dude was and still overeats.
I love this arrangement

Good to know any white person, even one we would consider ugly and balding - is hot in Korea! BOOKING MY FLIGHT lol.
