Thanks for sharing. I just found your channel yesterday and I am going back and watching old videos. We are starting a garden at our new home next year. I am really interested in doing it "right" , lol
No. My main garden area has long raised beds that are 8-10” deep. They don’t have a bottoms. Just in the dirt so the roots can go deeper than the bed itself. The one n this video is deeper. They all work great!
They did not recover from the DUCK damage. I have seeds that are just coming up in the hothouse now. Lets hope for better luck this round. No ducks in the greenhouse! 😂
Yes. It has higher salts, but by placing it in the bottom it has time to leach out and break down and the good 1 foot of soil on top separates. Most roots will stay in the 1 foot top soil, and by the time the others reach a deeper root system, it is broke down enough.
Great video, I can't wait to get my raised bed going. Thank you.
So nice of you
I have been inspired!
😊Good!
Excellent information!

I did it wrong plenty of times, lol! But, one thing is for certain, I learned from it! Good luck and thank you. I hope I can help🥰
Should most raised beds be 2’ total deep?

Thanks Alli! Did you ever manage to get a tree collard going?

You are so welcome!
Would horse manure work instead of chicken and goat?
