Recognizing Wiseman's immense talent and humble background, Steve saw an opportunity to create something truly magnificent. "I knew a flash mob was the answer, and Wiseman was the man to do it," Steve revealed. Wiseman introduced him to Yondela and the puzzle was complete. When they sing together... Oh Man!

Lol, We had that piano tuned before the performance, It is one messed up musical instrument. I don't think even Steinway could save it now. So sad. The airport authorities just have no interest. I went and visited it last week just to see if there was one more performance in it. No. I am glad we used it when we did. We are just 3 enthusiasts hoping to bring a little joy into someones lives. Not professionals. Just the three of us with a beautiful dancer.

I took this video to Durban Tourism hoping they might sponsor the next flash mob. They ignored me. I was hoping they might see the value of "being on the map". Hoping I might secure some regular income for Wisemand and Yondela. No.
6:23 The dancer isn't mentioned here. Was she not a planned part of the performance? If not, she should be! I'd like to visit that airport and tune their piano for them. A grand piano deserves to be kept tuned.
Hi Fred, you are so right, on both front. Firstly, the piano. The airport authorities have no budget to tune it and are not interested. I had to pay for a tuner to come out for our performance, so, you can imagine how out of tune it was before we started. V sad. The dancer is Jamie, here's the story. I got permission from the airport to have two singers and a camera man. Jamie pitched up on the day, I had never met her before or seen her dance. She asked if she could dance during the performance and I said no, because I didn't have permission for a dancer. She ignored me (thank goodness) and just started dancing. She was brilliant, brought a whole new energy to everything.
In parting, please come and tune that piano for us.
I always thought I was tone deaf. Seems I am not after all. Even I heard there was something wrong with the piano.
Your tone is not deaf. We got dealt our cards and did the best with the hand we were given.
Especially a Steinway. What a terrible reflection on the airport authorities. Thank you to all four of you - my eyes leaked at the beauty of it.

I met Wiseman at a function he was singing at. I was blown away by his voice. He introduced me to Yondela. When they sing together it is fantastic.

Its not easy to get permission. We managed to find someone who knew what the channels (structures) are. She got permission from 4 different departments before she gave us the go ahead.

She seems to be at the top of her range, he seems to be very comfortable up there like Bellini, Meyerbeer, Donizetti might be in his future. Definitely uncomfortably high for the soprano. Both voices are very good. Who are they??
Really pleased to see your interest. Wiseman is a singer from the townships. At this point he was staying in Inanda area, but his house and all his possessions where swept away in the floods just before this performance. Yondela is from another township. I cannot stress what nice people these two are. There is a "back story" video on the channel. We're planning a new performance in April

Haha, yes, I had it tuned the week before we performed, so you can imagine how far out it was. I swung by the airport 2 weeks ago to see if there was one more performance in that piano. Answer is no. We have a new performance planned so keep close.
