I am a Filipina. I am also a certified RG judge and coach who believes in fair judgement. After judging her routine, her difficulty was a 10.1 at best, including that which I would otherwise not count due to poor execution of elements. If I were to judge honestly I would maybe give her an 8.8. Looks like points were pulled out of thin air, much like the corruption we see for the Russians. 🧐 Despite my criticism, as a Filipina, I am very proud of the development of RG in The Philippines and the direction it looks like it is heading.
It's fun to watch gymnasts who are so sure and confident about what they do.. They make it look easy yet you know it's far from it! Most of those kind of people are the ones i see winning gold... Just like her. 😍
Her grandparents, uncles, aunts are gymnasts. Scholars because of such skill. My dear I am pretty sure that your parents and family are all very proud of you. Congrats!!!

How can the judges give the marks so high with that difficulty? Meanwhile, both Malaysian athletes did more difficulties but the mark still far from her! And the marks she got only can get by elite gymnasts who usually performed in Olympic
tbh the gymnasts qualified to the olympics usually score 20 or more for a hit routine, except ribbon which is usually about one point behind the other apparatuses... still, 17.750 is a score that no olympic athlete would get unless they have multiple drops or some sort of disaster
@@harry4596 fair point. How about the marks she supposed to get? Just curious how that routine and difficulty, she manages got higher marks compared to the gymnasts who do much difficulty than her.
Judging from her Asian Championship's performance this year, this very same routine got her 13.100 at 34th position. Her difficulty was 6.600 and execution was 6.500. The very same routine, no changes in her skills, mastery and difficulties. But here, I can say, quite a biased judging. You can see her leaps are barely 180 degrees at 0:59. her BD was average overall.

The biggest competitor is Malaysian Rg. But I am really impressed on her pirouttes that gives her a code of points in rg. It has a similar to melitina staniouta of Belarus.
I don't intend to be toxic but the Malaysian gymnast who got silver and bronze for this event had better routines and level of difficulty. I feel bad for them really. But still proud for our pambato she did great.

Sorry to disagree. Im not an expert but i would say, they had almost same routine with their own difficulties. But having said that, 1.25 edge on score is too much the judges would think that the Malaysian had a better routine.
I am a fan of rhythmic gymnastics.. I watch kabaeva until milena, lala kramarenko, sofia raffaeli, ekaterina galkina, averina twins, Belarus girls salos, until aghamirova n all the Olympics competitor s n qualifiers.. This dela pisa didn't deserve this..
But still congrats on your winning.. The are still a lot of championships in rhythmic gymnastics for the real gymnast who deserved it..
