Was absolutely brilliant watching 2 guys who clearly love what they're doing talking about their love of music with guys who are clearly fans that love the music just as much. Cheers guys, was a fantastic programme 👍
Wow Nick has been in Portugal for Vagos! Such a pity I did not meet him there as I follow this channel since before that! Great show guys! SoT starting the year strong! 🤘🤘
Autopsy’s album from ‘23 was a stone cold banger. I listen to it all the damn time. Doomy, crushing. The last two Autopsy releases are excellent. Amazing that these guys can put out top tier Death Metal at this stage of the game.
Cool interview, though I feel most of the attention was given to Chris and very few questions towards John. They are both pretty amiable, which is maybe a weird description for death metal legends.
This episode was built around Chris appearing on the channel, John has been on the channel a few times already and was invited back because his old friend was being interviewed, that's why I didn't pull out a bunch of Incantation stuff, that would have to be an episode in itself like me and Steve Keeler did on the Rock Fantasy Files channel.
I find the harder the music, the nicer the musicians. All that aggression and rage is for the music. Most of the musicians themselves are super nice people.
@@Ihatecensorship1 Living in Tampa I have run into my fair share of death metal dudes, from Dave and Trey of Morbid Angel to Corpsegrinder, and they are all pretty cool as well.
When will you do an Autopsy and Incantation ranking the albums shows?

Autopsy and Incantation! Two of the absolute best.

Incantation🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 solid catalogue!

This was super fun to listen to! Stoked to hear Autopsy will be in Philly in August!
This was great. Would love to see these guys back for a deeper discussion of death metal.
God damn, for a prog channel you really deliver with interviews with death metal masters. Cheers!
Sea of Tranquility always talked about metal

The last albums from both Autopsy and Incantation in 2022 & 23 were both in my top 5 end of the year picks for best releases .
Ashes, Organs, Blood and Crypts was a gem! Just how I like my death metal: tons of riffs and greasy as hell.
🤘
Great show! Looking forward to seeing Incantation in Dublin later this year
Pioneers of Death Metal. Miss Chuck!
Scream Bloody Gore (1987) is my all-time favorite Death album. 🤘
I don't know these two guys, nor their bands, but I greatly enjoyed this show and the conversation.
i love how Pete just lets everyone shoot the breeze!!
Old metal bands never die...THEY ONLY JUST PLAY FESTIVALS !
Fantastic, guys!
This made my night! Listening to these DM legends and the guys from SOT. Thanks Pete!
holyyy shittt never expected this
Best quote, "No Bass, No Heavy". Hell yeah.
ETA: more of this shit. Great episode.
Wow, this is gonna be awesome! 🤘🤘
I was about to write the same exact thing!
Hi John! Wait to see you again on 9th of march, here in Budapest, Hungary!🤘
Chris Reifert!??? Holy cr*p! 😮
There is only one Chris Reifert and here he is, right on Sea of Tranquility with Pete Pardo.
So, how did John Hand (supposed bassist on Scream Bloody Gore) come into the picture & having his picture on the album cover?
