I love how you can tell whose POV we're looking at in the Nibelheim flashback based on things like expressions, the way they talk, body-language and, in one shot, what glove they're wearing when they reach out. I am just so in love with how well they did that.
My favorite little thing you can notice is when Zack is in Cloud's mom's house trying to save her... and then the camera focuses on Cloud for a second, laying there unconscious, before immediately changing to his POV as he reaches out to his house. Which, in his memory, he just walked into.
Also, Sephiroth calls Cloud "a puppy". Everyone who's finished Crisis Core knows that nickname. Also also Cloud doesn't remember the dinner with the mayor which SOLDIERs were invited to.

I am 5 hours into the game and damn the nostalgia is hitting me hard...I am 38 years old and I still remember almost every details of the original classic FF7 back in 1997 playstation 1 era... and damn Sephiroth in the flashback is like "this is the real Sephiroth we wished him to be"...

39 in July…FF7 was an incredible journey back then. Me and my brother played together for hours, days. We both wanted to be Cloud. What I felt playing the original game will be forever part of my life. The love story, the friendship, the fall of Avalanche. I feel privileged to play the remake version!
I like what they did with jenova and sephiroth. They made it really seem like once he got to close to her she basically entered his mind and broke him, as opposed to him just going crazy and evil on the flip of a switch. Makes jenova feel much more of a threat then in the original.
I love how they really emphasized how much Cloud essentially became Zack when he was telling them of the past. Because all of those event were Zack and Sephiroth’s interactions and are now Clouds. Really love that twist

Literally the best day of my life so far. My heart was pounding all day waiting for the UPS guy to deliever my game. I couldn’t wait any longer to tear open the plastic and smell that new game smell. Hands down the greatest game AND GREATEST WORK OF ART OF ALL TIME. I have to write a paper on Faulkner but I’m gonna write about this game instead. It’s a masterpiece that DESTROYS Faulkner.
They taken their time knowing that FFVii is probably their biggest brand in the FF world. Only thing annoying is that they copied that tedious card game from FFViii (Triple Triad) and calling it Queens Blood. Hated that game as it took so much time up but was needed for weapons upgrades.

He was in it in the original. You got to play him before Nibelheim. Cloud and Sephiroth fought a dragon and Steph 1 shot it
