At 3:19, the still of America dead stacked on the engine of a tank reminds me of the saying " All gave some, some gave all" . The U.S. government celebrates "Pride" month and Veterans get 1 day. That my friends is unacceptable!
I watch these videos and try to see if I can catch a glimpse of My Father's tank. If you ever see an Army Tank with "Have Gun Will Travel" painted on the turret and 2 red stripes around the barrel, that's my Dads tank.
That m48 tank definitely got hit some round onto its front armor, it was seen a little smoky graze , though not penetrating blow. I can imagine the driver was stunned and obscured for some moments afterwards.
That black 'n' white picture is horrific, what a grim harvest those tankies had to make... Having to tie soldiers maybe friends bodies to your tank to stop them falling into the tracks, stacking them on top of your ration boxes then onto each other, just imagine every time you got a ration box out being covered in blood and all sorts of other gory matter then having to force yourself to eat it with that vision of that unholy mass of lifeless human abattoir you've had to drag on up and tie to your tank...,war can be a necessery evil, but war can be hell, STABILIS... Lest we never forget. 🏴..
At the beginning of the video, where USMC tanks are landing on the beach, what colour are they painted please? I,m working on a model. I will appreciate if anyone knows the accurate description of the colour

The Fighting First. Respect 👍
I'm jealous, you got to operate my favorite tank in history, and all I get to drive is a Ford.
