- This video shows how to link Up CCTV Cameras that are placed at multiple remote locations to a single monitoring Centre.
This setup teaches how to connect cameras from unlimited apart and put them together as if they are all in a same network.
The cameras are placed at distances beyond cable connection.
This kind of setup is applicable to Nationwide surveillance installations where cameras can be placed any where regardless of distance and number but can be connected together and viewed on a single screen.
The kind of cameras used in this video are non POE IP cameras and so the video teaches how to connect the cameras using POE Splitters.
Here is a full video of how to link AHD Cameras to a computer. • How to link AHD CCTV C...
Below is also how to connect IP Cameras to a computer without using an NVR.

Thank you very much for your videos sir.
Hello Richy, am very grateful for your continuous support, God bless you.
Your coaching is on another level bro, kudoz
I thank God for wisdom to do what i do.
Excellent Presentation. THANK You! 🙏
Thanks very much
Great brother, thank you
My pleasure. Thanks so much for watching
Thank you for this beautiful presentation
What I want to ask you about is: Is the place where the first camera was placed by the Internet provider in that place the same as the place of the second camera?
Is it possible to add cameras from several companies to an VMS application?
You can use different Internet providers from any part of the world.
Yes, you can add cameras different organisations together on the VMS. I do not mean different camera brands, it's advisable to use one camera brand at all the organisations to be brought together on one VMS.
Sir, thank you for the good presentation. i just want to no that the VMS can it be intergraded with NVR?.
You can use the VMS alongside the NVR.
Thanks brotha
Most welcome Sir. You can more of my videos at www.youtube.com/@tech_inside_out
well explained
Thank you
So the poe splitter replaces a normal 12v adapter that u power individually and makes the switch gives it power and data time..
Yes, that's correct. I will do a video explaining the differences in using a POE Splitter and a normal 12 adapter and when to use each
Thanks a lot, lima charlie

DOES THE joy vision vms work with any brand of camera? Is there a recommended spec for computer it runs on?
The Jovision VMS works for all Onvif compliant cameras, but in that mode, you should be able to set up the Onvif settings on the camera.
However, it is recommended to use the VMS of your camera brand
hello Sir. thanks for the Video.
my qn. how to video footage get installed for future when no dvr used?
You can record onto the computer on which the VMS is installed.

How to aces in my phone
You can just use the cloud p2p app or what is called remote on phone. You can a video on that on my channel www.youtube.com/@tech_inside_out
Can you add thirdparty Nvr/dvr using this P2p method to this particular vms?
Yes, you can, provided the third party camera is ONVIF Compliant
Can you do a video or help me with Hikvision ? it was easy using Jovision but have issues on using iVMS. Thank you
Your request is well noted
Nice video
Thanks
It is require poe switch when we connect the camera in the rwmote location? In your video while you add cloud id of camera you put poe and when you put the camera to each location you did not put poe switch.
The purpose of the POE switch was to supply power to the camera. If there is any other means by which you can supply power to the camera, there will not be need for a POE Switch
Thanks

Is it compulsory to get same router or same network company in order to monitor them in different place?
And what about if i want to monitor on TV screen, not pc software?
You don't need the same router or the same network. All you need is Internet from any provider.
For monitoring on TV screen, you may have to connect your TV as a monitor for a computer.
Pls is the VMS different for different vendor..or manufacturers
Yes, most manufacturers have their own VMS. however, manufacturers that have their cameras compatible to the Onvif standards can have their camera working with the VMS of other manufacturers.
Please can you apply this method when the cameras are connected to an NVR
Hello Selorm, yes it is possible. In that case you will use the Cloud ID of the NVR
It is must be IP camera only or even you can add VMS to analogy Camera
You can use analogue cameras but they must go through a DVR since it is only the DVR that can be assigned an IP address
Am using DMSS app for live cameras how can i do this? The Dvr and cameras i use is Dahua
I haven't tried it in Dahua, but the process shouldn't be too different. Please try it up with this as a general guide
Are we able to add cellular IP Camera to our Synology Surveillance Station for remote monitoring?
I haven't come across cellular IP camera, but provided the device has a cloud ID, it can be done
Thank u

Amazing video. Great work bro. What VMS software did you use
Hello,
I downloaded it from the website of Jovision
@@Tech_Inside_Out Thanks alot
@@osemudiamenosejie2486 You are welcome
Good day, can you make a video on how to link cameras to central monitor with UID numbers
Well noted,
Will this work with Dahua XVR analog cameras?
Yes, it would work
Please is it advisable to mount a wireless camera outside a house? Whiles the router is indoor.
Yes, it is possible, provided your router covers the distance at where your camera is located
I have 10 Hikvision DVR how can I link them to one monitoring location
You can just connect internet into the DVRs through the ethernet port of each DVR and pick the P2P ID of each DVR and put into the IVMS software at the monitoring center.
The IVMS is the hikvision version of the VMS Software.
What if we have 10 cameras each in two different location, do we copy the all the p2p id of all the cameras?
You can use an NVR in each location so that you use the p2p ID of just the NVR at each location
Thanku. Sir
You most welcome
Nice teaching sir but how analog camera with a dvr ?
The process is similar just that you require a DVR to which you connect your camera and use the cloud ID of the DVRs to link each other on the remote software
good day, i ask how to connect my acer laptop windows 11 to router, because my laptop is usb port only and no poe port
With such a laptop, you will have to use a USB to ethernet connector. You can get one from IT shops to buy
Sir CloudSEE I'd shows other is there any way to configure it
Please can you further explain the question a bit for me? I don't quite understand the question
Is the VMS Software universal? Can it be used to any Camera?
Yes, provided the camera is ONVIF Compliant
Hello sir, I have a question. is there not require any NVR? if not then how can I store record?
You don't necessarily need an NVR. You can record to your computer
hi VMS software are compatible with differnt types of brand ? like Hikvision, Alduah, etc? if not what is your recommended software to link all of them? Thanks
Every brand has a VMS. Example Hikvision uses IVMS
@@Tech_Inside_Out how about if we will used IVMS and the other camera has another brand can we still connect them to IVMS?
@ArvinMortiz It might be difficult, it is recommended to use thesame camera brands to make it easy
Please can you apply this method when the cameras are connected to an NVR
please how can i get in contact with you
Yes, you can apply this method when you are using NVR. In such a case, you would be using the Cloud ID of the NVR to locate each of them.
You can contact me by WhatsApp on +233556307182. My name is Benedict
thanks for this. i have question, how i can do a similar things like this but without internet connection? so i want to make a monitor room in two different place but still in the same building, at first i was thinking to use hdmi splitter but i need a really long cable for it which is something that i want to avoid cause there's kid so is it possible to make it wireless but without using internet?
You can use a CPE in taking the signal to a line of site distance
@@Tech_Inside_Out I am sorry but i still not quite understand, what you mean with CPE is an Access Point, right? i already have access point installed but i only use it for sharing internet connection to another room. the cctv system that i currently use now, its on different setup, it doesnt connected to any internet connection. so what i mean is i have a cctv camera connected to dvr device with an lcd monitor connected to it in one room, and i want to see the display on the second floor but wirelessly but i have no idea how to do it
Inorder to connect to the cloud u need the internet connection it can’t work without internet
Nice video, I have a few ques
1. What happens if there is any loss of Internet connectivity in any of the location
2. Can we do a similar setup for wireless Wifi cameras, residing in different locations connected to different routers?
Thanks in advance
1. There will be loss of video whenever there is Internet loss at any of the locations
2. Yes, you can do same for WiFi cameras, that is even easier since the location of WiFi cameras does not matter, all you need is to hook them on to the Internet and link them to the app
Can i rewind the video to a certain date? If so can you tell how, i feel like i saw theres a playback feature there. But i have a question:
How do they able to rewind the video? Is it from the video saved in the ssd inside of the camera? (if playback feature works)
Thankyou for the video, this has been very informative! Your contents are amazing as always!
Yes, you can do a rewind but that is done from the recordings on the hard disk drive of the PC.
The camera does not have a storage device installed in it.
So this PC acts like an Nvr?
So this is done without an NVR? and both locations need to be always online before you can have access?
1.No NVR Needed
2. You need continuous internet access to be able to do this.
Thanks for your video short and full expalantion
Let me ask you VMS is Paid application or open source
Should HIkvision Cameras can connect in different location
Into single Monitoring system screen support wifi
Together
The VMS is free for download.
The Hikvision version of VMS is IVMS
How about Dahua Camera VMS
Please can this work on AHD cameras too ?
If yes how do I do it?
This can work on AHD. You will have to do it through a DVR
Hello sir can this method be applicable to analog cameras ? Meaning will I get the cloud ID of an analog camera if I connect my pc to the same network of the dvr to which the analog camera is connected ?
For Analogue cameras, you will use the cloud ID of the DVR to which the cameras are connected at each location.
@@Tech_Inside_Out thank you
is the software compatible with hikvision dvr /nvr? :D
Unless you activate Onvif. The hik version is IVMS. So please use the ivms
I tried this using an onvif cctv imou (Dahua production). I can connect it to the vms u r using on the search device if the we qre connected to the same wifi, but it doesnt state the device cloud SEE id? It only states "other" in it. U said it urself on other comments that the vms works on other onvif compliant devices
I suspect you have not activated the Onvif protocol. You will have to activate the protocol since these are two systems from different manufacturers.
@@Tech_Inside_Out oh. How do i activate the onvif protocol? Is it by the vms or the cctv itself? Thankyou for the input so farr
@@Tech_Inside_Out how do you activate the onvif protocol?
This looks good man,, so its means you cannot setup without internet connection
Yes, you need Internet since the locations are far apart
Please can you make a video on how to share your remote viewing to a different phone 😊
Well noted
Expect it soon
Hello, please how can I reach you.
I have some questions to ask
Please send me a WhatsApp on +233556307182
Can we do it with AHD Cameras not IP Cameras ?
Yes, you can do this using AHD Cameras.
How do you store the recording?
On your computer.
Pls if one install 12pcs of IP camera at 40 different places and want to view them on 4 monitors in the control room, can this work too
Yes, it would work perfectly
@@Tech_Inside_Out sir, what of ubox ptz cameras, can I achieve this results with them using UID numbers
Hi can this work with different brands? I see that your POE and camera were the same brand?
Most brands have VMS software and it is recommended to use the VMS for your camera brand.
@@Tech_Inside_Out Thank you so much for your response. I really appreciated it!🙏 And by the way your video was so smooth and easy to learn. But I have another question could you please help me with it? Is there a POE switch that only has a few slots so I can save money? I tried looking on Shopee and they have a POE injector, I don't know the difference between Switch & Injector. Can Injector work?
Thank you so much.🙏
God bless you more and more and your family.🙏
@GoodVibe-bl6nl Hello,
The POE injector really works but what it essentially does is to enable you have power supplied to your camera through the network cable. You will still need a network switch which is not necessarily a POE Switch to which you will connect all of your cameras and then take an output from the switch into your NVR.
So the POE injectors are used in instances where you are using Non POE switches and you want to supply power to your cameras through the network cable.
I will try to do a video to explain this as you have mentioned it.
God bless you.
@@Tech_Inside_Out Thank you so much.🙏 I am thinking of combining all our CCTV cameras, all different brands and all different locations as well. V380, YOOSEE, TAPO & UNEED IP cameras. All of them have their own apps to watch & my intention is I want to put them all in just one monitor on my laptop. Is it possible to do it?
Thank you so much for answering. Much appreciated. God bless you more and your family.🙏

please do video on how to remotely access your cctv camera on your phone
I have done it, here is the link to the video th-cam.com/video/S0n6Y45g18A/w-d-xo.html
How to view smart phone?
The process is almost thesame but i will do a video on how to do it
What if the cameras are wireless and have their independent sim cards for internet connection...how can I get their P2P addresses on the VMS?
For wireless cameras, it is the NVR that comes with the P2P ID. So in doing this your cameras at each location need to be connected to an NVR whiles you link the NVRS together on the VMS
Most SIM based wireless cameras have p2p IDs that are either embedded into a QR Code other accessible on the device after linking them to their phone app.
@@Tech_Inside_Out Thanks
@@Tech_Inside_Out Thank you very much...but can you please demonstrate it in a video?🙏
it also aplicable for hikvision camera
Yes, hikvision has a vms through which you can do this. Very soon I will do tutorials on hikvision machines

if i use ip camera why i need power for camera
It's not all IP cameras that are powered by Power Over Ethernet. There are non POE IP cameras. Non POE IP Cameras require separate power supply through the power supply port as I did.
How can this setup be made on a smart android tv instead of computer sir?
The software i used is a Windows based software, not for android. You can use the phone software for your Android tv for thesame setup.

@@creativemind3562 Welcome
Nice content..what if my cameras are not IPcameras?
You can Link them up by connecting them through a DVR and use the cloud ID of the DVR to connect to the remote viewing centre.
That means instead of the cloud ID of the IP Cameras as shown in this video, you will be using the Cloud ID of your DVR through which all cameras connected to the DVR can be seen.

Where is NVR
Placing IP cameras on the Internet does not require an NVR since IP cameras can be automatically assigned IP addresses over the network they are connected to. An NVR is not so much needed in this connection since I needed to receive and record these cameras from another location.
In case you need further clarification, please let me know.
