  • This video shows how to link Up CCTV Cameras that are placed at multiple remote locations to a single monitoring Centre.
    This setup teaches how to connect cameras from unlimited apart and put them together as if they are all in a same network.
    The cameras are placed at distances beyond cable connection.
    This kind of setup is applicable to Nationwide surveillance installations where cameras can be placed any where regardless of distance and number but can be connected together and viewed on a single screen.
    The kind of cameras used in this video are non POE IP cameras and so the video teaches how to connect the cameras using POE Splitters.
    Here is a full video of how to link AHD Cameras to a computer. • How to link AHD CCTV C...
    Below is also how to connect IP Cameras to a computer without using an NVR.

    Thank you for this beautiful presentation
    What I want to ask you about is: Is the place where the first camera was placed by the Internet provider in that place the same as the place of the second camera?
    Is it possible to add cameras from several companies to an VMS application?

    • @Tech_Inside_Out
      @Tech_Inside_Out  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can use different Internet providers from any part of the world.
      Yes, you can add cameras different organisations together on the VMS. I do not mean different camera brands, it's advisable to use one camera brand at all the organisations to be brought together on one VMS.

      @GoodVibe-bl6nl Hello,
      The POE injector really works but what it essentially does is to enable you have power supplied to your camera through the network cable. You will still need a network switch which is not necessarily a POE Switch to which you will connect all of your cameras and then take an output from the switch into your NVR.
      So the POE injectors are used in instances where you are using Non POE switches and you want to supply power to your cameras through the network cable.
      I will try to do a video to explain this as you have mentioned it.

    What if the cameras are wireless and have their independent sim cards for internet connection...how can I get their P2P addresses on the VMS?

    • @Tech_Inside_Out
      @Tech_Inside_Out  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For wireless cameras, it is the NVR that comes with the P2P ID. So in doing this your cameras at each location need to be connected to an NVR whiles you link the NVRS together on the VMS

    • @Tech_Inside_Out
      @Tech_Inside_Out  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most SIM based wireless cameras have p2p IDs that are either embedded into a QR Code other accessible on the device after linking them to their phone app.

      You can Link them up by connecting them through a DVR and use the cloud ID of the DVR to connect to the remote viewing centre.
      That means instead of the cloud ID of the IP Cameras as shown in this video, you will be using the Cloud ID of your DVR through which all cameras connected to the DVR can be seen.

    Where is NVR

    • @Tech_Inside_Out
      @Tech_Inside_Out  ปีที่แล้ว

      Placing IP cameras on the Internet does not require an NVR since IP cameras can be automatically assigned IP addresses over the network they are connected to. An NVR is not so much needed in this connection since I needed to receive and record these cameras from another location.
      In case you need further clarification, please let me know.
      Kind regards

      Hello,
      Unless your NVR is a wireless NVR, you can't add a wireless camera.
      Most Wireless cameras come with the NVR whereby you just need to plug and play your system.
