Agreed. Still, some of the songs from this album are both moving, well written, and radio-worthy...So why aren't the stations playing them? Todays teens need to hear honestly written and produced music...

What a gorgeous voice, She bring joy to so many.
I think a lot of people use the word "underrated" when they have something to say about "Jewel". I know where that is coming from.
But I felt like, well this is only my personal opinion, Jewel does not need anyone to over or underrate her in any way, in other words, she does not need anyone to fight for her honor nor justify her in any way.
I think her name says it all "Jewel". She genuinely is a rare gem and gems are made from high heat and pressure and a real gem would never lose its value no matter what.
If one is looking for something to describe her then there was a phrase pretty well said from early forum days - people stated her as "God's gift from Alaska". Or was it earlier mentioned as a "God gift to Alaska" but as time went on, we have witnessed that this talented gift is not only for Alaska but for the whole world, I think the earlier one fits better.
We are blessed to enjoy her poetic yet meaningful lyrics and angelic voice, and it is obvious she is not just a pretty face, so don't let the beauty carry you away or fool you.
She is indeed a blessing for us all in this cruel cruel world to shed light on us, through her music and arts telling us there is still beauty in life that is worth living for.
Beautifully Underestimated she's only gotten better. Who ever is controlling our radio air space play- should be fired. So much garbage we are being feed these days ..

I remember her when she was about 14 years old in her van at the beach writing music. She was so young and so talented and so sweet and still is, I knew she would become a wonderful artist. Her voice is one of a kind so beautiful and so talented. I watch the show that her family has. ( Alaskas Last Fronter) . I never knew she was a Kelter. it's been a little over a year since I started listening to country music ,the newer artists, and I am glad I was curious about the older music and took a liking in the different sound to the music. I just love that I was so into the new and old like Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, etc... that it just made me want to listen to more, and I have been able to find "new" old music, which is great. Even thoe I wasn't brought up with this type of music I am glad I eventually found it.
