- With the new Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, announced, we took it upon ourselves to rank every FromSoftware DLC from Dark Souls and Bloodborne from worst to best. Check out how our list ranks up and tell us in the comments what you think are the best SoulsBorne DLC.

Yeah old hunters is the best dlc maybe ever. That fight alone with Ludwig, the implications, the fan service with the MLGS, the track that accompanies the clash. And that's just the first boss
It's a 10/10 expansion, just like MHW Iceborne and Witcher 3 Blood and Wine

Mass Effect 3: Citadel and Just Cause 3: Sky Fortress were PERFECT additions to their respective games, but smaller by comparison.

I'm still pissed that sekiro doesn't have a single dlc. That is my favorite fromsoft game.

Sekiro is possibly the best game ever in terms of boss design, balance, mechanics and overall bad arsery. Hope to see a sequel soon.

I've reached the true corrupted monk but I've had to take a break. Its an amazing game but beyond brutal at the best of times
Artorias of the Abyss was the best for me, to know a false legend of a legendary Great knight was sad, and was inspiring to the many who came after not knowing the truth of the abyss walker

People criticize Laurence the First Vicar saying it's a "reskin" but it aligns perfectly with the lore. He's also one of (IMO) the hardest bosses in a From Software game I've ever played.

@Pixel_Perspectives P Lawrence is only a reskin based on looks. He's much more difficult than the cleric beast and actually became one of my worst fights in the game. His ability to one shot is ridiculous

Agreed! They are some of my all-time favorite Soulsborne bosses. All the Fromsoft DLCs have standout bosses though.

Sony will eventually release it on along with a performance mode 60fps and a pc port, will most likely be released when their content runs dry or their next ps6 like demon souls with ps5

"Personally",Artorias of the Abyss was the best DLC for me,the lore behind was just amazing and the boss fights were just spectacular

theres easily a discussion, ringed city alone is better in bosses, weapons, lore, soundtrack especially atmosphere by a gigantic margin, dlc also has the most impactful lore moments fromsoft have ever done, bb doesnt really come close. now counting ashes of Ariandel, which both were supposed to be one dlc but namco refused, and old hunters seems almost low effort in comparison, its actually unfair to IT to compare it to ds3 dlc XD

As someone who absolutely loved Gael's fight and the Ringed City a LOT, it isn't better than Old Hunters in terms of creativity and gameplay fun.

Shadow of erdtree will be my new fav dlc most likely so for 2nd it’s ringed city then old hunters or maybe tied then it’s abyss dlc in ds1, ariandel’s ashes, then ivory king&iron> sunken for me

Never got around to DS2's DLC, but I've loved every other Fromsoftware/ Soulsborne DLC. They all stand out in their own way, and usually feel more exciting than the main game. Cant wait to see what Shadow of the Erdtree brings to the table for Elden Ring.
The DS2 DLC's are fantastic. I'm not even a huge fan of that game, but the DLC is definitely the best stuff the game has to offer. If you're a Fromsoft fan you should definitely play it.
DS2 DLC's be like:
- Crown of the Sunken King: Amazing level design
- Crown of the Iron King:
Amazing bosses
- Crown of the Ivory King:
Amazing lore and bossfight especially Ivory King's entrance
would switch around the placing of the ds2 dlcs - the first 2 were the better ones.

DS2 DLC was larger than the main game, and it is the ultimate challenge. Automatically setting them at the bottom of the list is lazy, and played out. Everyone saw it coming. It’s like hating on nickelback, it’s the popular thing to do, but typically is without merit.
Sorry, but they’re the best part of the weakest entry in the series, and they each have their own problems. From Sunken King’s horrible platforming to Old Iron King’s smelter wedges to Ivory King having both the worst area and boss fight in the entire game.

@@dantestryder yeah honestly after playing elden ring Gael isn't quite as spectacular to me anymore. His moveset is pretty straightforward and doesn't keep me on my toes as much as fights like isshin, maliketh, morgott, placidusax, mohg, or Godfrey imo. Still amazing and definitely top 5 worthy tho.

Berserk is ongoing. Miura's best friend and his proteges picked it up and it is going fine. There will still be amazing material Fromsoftware and others can pick up from.

Gravetender drags the experience down. Not only that, but the mid enemy variety, some annoying enemy placements (two crabs near each other, or the archers in the branches) and overall lack of new content.
