Can this be done with a 5” block?
Класс!
I love this video ❤ thank you. 😮All I need now😂 is USA measurements😊. Can I use 5" and 51/2"? Looks the closest 😊
i am doing it now and am using 5.5" and 5.1"
Hey, wenn ich es könnte würde ich es machen ;-)
❤❤❤❤❤
To make a quilt I guess I would repeat these segments in length to form columns then make several more columns and join?
How many of those blocks would make quilt?
Glad I read the comment. Now I don’t have to waste the time to watch the video.
Beautiful work!
The end of the video was cut short😢
Thank you 😊 💓
Interessante
Where can i see finished block please n thank you.
😊👍
Thank you 😊 💓
Falta explicação mais detalhada. No meio do vídeo a gente se perde.
Uma pena, o bloco é lindo.
Obrigada.
It was hard to tell what your block mix was at the beginning of the video.
Hi is there a name for this block? It is similar to the jacobs ladder. I would love to adjust the size of the blocks to make a table runner. Thank you for the tutorial
hello. The finished size for each block size is as follows:
12cm, 11cm, finished size 36cm
13cm, 12cm finished size 40cm
14cm, 13cm, finished size 44cm
15cm, 14cm finished size 48cm
16cm, 15cm finished size 52cm.
If the size of the block increases by 1cm, the finished size increases by 4cm. Conversely, if the size of the block decreases by 1cm, the finished size decreases by 4cm.
🔆I sewed all seams along the presser foot line.
So let's say we are making a small quilt....45"×43" (sorry it's not metric). How many yards of each fabric do we need. Will all the finished blocks use this exactly layout as far as 14cm^2: Fabric 1: 8, Fabric 2: 4, Fabric 3: 4 and 13cm^2: Fabric 2: 8, Fabric 3:8.
I need more details!!!!
I agree. I need to know how much for a decent sized quilt.
@leahdonovan7833 well, let me tell you. The finishing block for the piece of fabric she started with yields TWO 44cm x 44cm squares. Now, she did end up with 4 piles and pushed two aside but I bought fabric based on her stating that the finishing block was 44cm x 44cm.
I bought 11.5 yrds of fabric to make a ~50" x 60" throw/kids blanket. This gave me enough fabric to make TWO complete quilts.
To make one 50" x 60" (it'll really be 48" x 64") you'll need the following...
Fabric 1- 1.25 yrds. This will give you 48 5.5" blocks.
Fabric 2- 1.5 yrds. This will give you 24 5.5" blocks and 48 5" blocks.
Fabric 3-1.5 yrds. This will give you 24 5.5" blocks and 48 5" blocks.
Hope this helps. I'm American so it's not metric 😂😂😂.
This is also all based on fabric that has a 43" width...but I'm pretty sure it won't change if it's only 42" bc I had a little bit of remnants left.
If you have tiktok, I can post what the quilt is looking like. @jelliebean0_o

I ended up with 16 blocks that won't fit the overall pattern. They make a pattern where the striped all go the same way. Am I supposed to make 2 quilts ?!
I have tiktok. What's your user name ?
Patchwork
I'll give you an A- for effort, you need to work on presentation ❤
I give her an A+. Easy to understand and I will make it , easy to make. I can imagine this in Christmas prints!
A+ 😊
Never even see the finished block! The pop ups at the end cover the entire block and you don't show it at the beginning either. What I can see of it looks beautiful, but disappointed to not to have a view of it completed.
YES! THAT is annoying as heck! 😭 I am an experienced seamstress, but not a "Quilter"! Trying to learn, but it is annoying when this happens! 😡

This is very anoing
I definitely hate videos without speaking ... really annoying especially for beginners ... BS
Thsnks. Won't bother to watch.
I've made this following the video, and came up with 16 squares that don't fit into the pattern. Those are the ones she blithely sweeps away at 5.19 . They will go together, but in a different overall design. Very annoyed.
Correction...at 5.24
!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Зачем показывать э ту иностранщину сво,их мк мало
Почему нет размеров, дизлайк
Best not to press seams open. Press both to the darker fabric. Will make seams stronger.
After quilting, the open seams are protected. imo
You can use a smaller stitch if you like.
🥳👏💖💐🪡🧵
Thank you 😊 💓 ☺️
Well done! Thank you!!! 😊
there's one thing I don't get : when people are making a youtube video, why being too lazy to explain ... I mean talking ... what they're doing ?? so stupid ... maybe if you're an experienced person, you'll follow more easily, but as an absolute beginner, all I can say is that videos like this one are BS 👎
