    • @priikii
      @priikii ปีที่แล้ว +41

      True, but tbh waxing is not good if you do too often. It causes various wrinkles, even if you’re very young, and plus causes skin to hang due to the pulling. Plucking is the most painful, but also the least dangerous. Laser is too much technology for the skin and unnatural, sugaring doesn’t work as good, and threading can be controversial

    As a south Asian woman laser hair removal has change my life significantly. I used to have to shave every day and would still get stubble by the end of the day. Even when I shaved my skin had small bumps and pimples and was discoloured. A few sessions of laser has made my skin soo smooth and had cleared it right up. I feel so much more confident now. The hair isn’t completely gone but I only have to shave like once a week and the hair is so much thinner and finer in texture and a lot of it is lighter in color too. Laser hair removal was the best decision I ever made. I would 100% recommend

  • @rahafalkhaldi1897
    @rahafalkhaldi1897 ปีที่แล้ว +50

    Waxing was efficient for me, however over time the hair got so fine it wouldn’t be able to penetrate the surface of my skin anymore so it resulted in a lot of ingrown hairs, and picking out those ingrowns caused a lot of scaring and hyperpigmentation to form. Laser hair removal zaps and completely destroys the hair strand and follicle and evens out your complexion by destroying excess built up pigment in some areas where there are scars. Laser hair removal is hands down the best invention of hair removal.

    Epilator wasn't mentioned? The best then? I use three different ways of removing hair, prefer strip waxing on legs (use epilator if I run out of strips), for face epilator above lips and precise plucking for eyebrows. I'd reccomend these, haven't found a downside.

      I would suggest laser if you have more hair , electrolysis is much effective but it's more expensive, more painful and will not be done if you have more area and density as it can cause scarring, but for small areas with less hair density electrolysis is best

      @@supriya2776you can do it on large areas as well (a large area on the face is still relatively small). But it's more expensive and painful. I have done it on my sideburns and it took an hour. But the lady there says that there are people who come in with hair that's more dense and do it for hours.

    I do laser like once every 1.5 years. It's true that it's not as effective on hormonal areas like the face but it helps keep things manageable. I didn't have a lot but it was like dark peach fuzz with some thicker areas. Be prepared to do it long term though.
    Rest of the body has been great, hair on my legs was so thick. After 8 sessions I've had barely any growth for 1+ years now.
    Areas like my arms it does come back more but its finer and when I shave it lasts longer.
    Basically laser isn't perfect but I consider it the best option.
