- It is time to check out the new Spider Famer SF2000 PRO LED grow light and see what its PAR levels are inside one of their 28"x28" tents. This is quite a bit different than the previous SF2000 non-pro version, with the biggest difference being it is now square instead of rectangular.

love my sf2000 it was my 1st light and has gotten me through 2 years of harvests and vs the chilled led 330 at 5x the price it has held its own.. i would recommend anyone going with a SF light to save money🤘🤘🤘✌️✌️
The SF series has always been really solid for the price, and I really like how well that new LED pattern seems to be working for keeping the light levels more even.
Dang I bought my first light which was an SF2000 not all that long ago, maybe 5 months ago or so. Having it spread out into a square would've been great for my 3×3. Thanks for the great info HG I like the different heights and power levels.
It is an interesting change for sure, but your results should be pretty similar, you will just have a bit less light along the short side, and a bit more along the long side of the SF2000, if that makes sense.
Ks3000 in a 3x3 would suit alot better. 880umol average 750-1000 across every inch of the canopy.
Phenomenal job on the unboxing for this light!! I hope to be there with you actually part of the Spiderfarmer family!!! 💯 May or May Not be setting up on of these in the Near Future!! 🤔🤞 Fingers 🤞
Good video. Like my old school Farmer with a Mean Well. Wish they still used that driver.
Yeah, that is what they were using when we first started growing with them as well.
Looks just like a Bloom Plus XP series light on the top. They have very similar diode layout also.
A lot of these lights end up looking very similar over time for sure.
Sweet SF2000

Would be keen to see a proper par test in the calculated room size that most people work off eg 30watt per square foot. Approx 7.5 square feet is an 80CMx80CM grow room. To test if the par spread evens out... was a horrible par spread in your test with a room that was too big.
I am not sure what you are talking about, as this was tested inside of the Spider Farmer 70cmx70cm tent which works out to almost exactly 5 square feet of space.
@@TheHippieGeeks my appologies, i thought it was a 90x90. I shall get back in my box 📦
I run migro 4 aray..great light
I have heard good things about their lights before, seem to be very decent ones for sure =)
Can you please do a par map for the original sf2000 in a 2×2 Thanks
Hi please could yiu help me make the right decision i bought a sf1000 evo very cheap thinking that 2 paired together would be the same amout of diodes as aa singular sf2000 evo but it looks like the 2000 has alot more so since im only using 2'6x2'6x5'3 should i sell my 1k evo on and get the 2k?
Cheers great videos btw 👍
Honestly, it is going to depend on what your budget is. Adding a second SF1000 is going to be your cheapest option, and while it may have less diodes it should put out a similar amount of light, and will actually cover the wider space better than a single SF2000 would. Depending on what your end goals are with growing, in a tent that size either a G3000 or SE3000 would also fit, and give you a max of 300 watts of light, and past that there is the SF4000 which should fit and has 450 watts.
Really its all about budget, and what you want to grow. If you just picked up a second SF1000 it would probably give you some very solid results, and also be your most affordable option. That is the balance when it comes to buying gear though =)
Could this be ok for a 100x100cm tent? or do I have to buy a more powerful version?
This would work pretty well for a tent that size, though an se3000 or G3000 would give you a bit better results in a tent that size.
Fantastic light for next to no money (sale price) Great review family ✌️🪴🤘💚
I am really impressed with the amount of light this thing is putting out, and how even it actually is across the canopy. I wasn't expecting that to be honest =) I also took measurements in a 3x3 tent, and those should be going up next week =)
@@TheHippieGeeks that light will handle a 3x3 no bother👍
$1 per watt is pretty average for all grow lights
Looks like the sf4000? I thought the sf2000 only had one board?
I'm running 3 sf2000s in a 4x8 what height should I have them at for flowering im currently at 12 inches from tops and spaced 12 inches part from each other
Keep up the great content THG

Seems to be a decent light, but not a fan of the square design. Should have made it longer to be more ideal for 2x4. But 2 in 2x4 would crush it! 🪴💚
@@jackrobinson9277 if this light is designed for a 3x3 then it's very under powered at 200 watts. This looks very similar to the Bloom Plus xp series of lights.
I am curious if they are going to make a larger Pro version that is rectangular, because honestly the SF-2000 isnt great for a 2x4 either, it is a bit too short to really fill the tent. The G4500 is really interesting, as it is a bar style light that is designed for a 2x4.
