Stumbled upon your video today. Recognized your guide as Chico. Watch his channel a lot and once ran in to him at (Druif Beach) your first stop. Learned location from one of his videos. I too was in Aruba in Feb. fishing the same spot but as with you way to windy. Wild side as I refer to it. Will be returning in June to give it another try.😃Malmok is another place I fish while there (Calm side) with good success.
That’s great to know Aruba is one of my favorite places to go I try to go once a year, but this time I might take Chico advice he said go in October best fishing time
First and second fish you caught are called hilisterchi also know as a yellowtail snapper. The third fish you caught is called checheibi also know as a blue runner, the pufferfish was actually a spotted trunkfish we call them fototo and the grouper are known as djampou in Papiamento.
No such thing as wrong month for fishing here in Aruba. Fishes year round by the rocks. Just need the right set up at a particular location. Better luck next time.
The daily fish is amazing. I ate there like every day when I was there!
Thats good I haven’t went this year yet need to make a trip back

Yeah typically Feb, Mar and Apr are quite windy. In Sep, Oct and Nov there are days/weeks where the wind dies down.
@@jonk9293 thanks that’s good to know
Great video, now I know to avoid February when traveling to Aruba
Aug to nov is the best time
