I had trouble releasing the plastic shipping lock piece. It was not as easy as the one in this vid. If anyone has this issue, try flicking it up and out using a screwdriver…quick and easy. My jack was probably a dud.
The 3 ton Super duty is actually the one same in the same factory as snap on im pretty sure this daytona and the 3 ton low profile pittsburgh is almost the same exactly the same
Mine squeals too whenever I lift it and I have greased everything and bled it out with topping it off with oil and it still does it glad im not the only one experiencing it but at least it works good does yours still make that noise?
Haha, it does! I have been meaning to grease it, but haven't got around to it. I am renovating my new garage and it is taking more time than anticipated. 😉
@Pen_Pusher Pittsburgh has flat non beveled rear wheels, no real wheel support wing plate, C-channel frame bottom and top narrower, no saddle pad, fluid needs to be topped of and bleed, welds not great, bottom tie cross plate narrower, lighter by 10lbs for a reason, etc.. to name a few. Get the Daytona.

Thanks for that tip Summer! 👊
You have to push down on the handle and that’ll release the tension on the black block.

Yeah, that's interesting!
That’s true, it’s a snap on jack rebranded
@@swishmade_it Now I wish I got the super duty one!
@@Pen_Pusher basically all the daytona jacks are that way. Not just the super duty
Thank you that back screw was all I needed to know
You're welcome!
Just got mine in blue, they are badass
Nice color! I have my toolbox in blue and the jack in green!
How much did you pay? I just picked up the blue for $152.99 after the 15% discount. I heard they were $129.99 a few weeks ago.
Thank you! Videos like your's makes TH-cam what it is!
Thanks for the encouragement!
What is the black top part where the vehicle sits called? I removed mine and lost it
“Floor jack rubber pad”
Mine too!!

Mine doesn’t have that black piece that holds it up. Mine is more indented in. Maybe I’m missing a rubber piece? Anyone know?
Yes, there should be a rubber pad that sits on top of the saddle of the jack.
Yeah I found one on Amazon I’ll probably get.
Is there anyway you could tell me the shape of the pad there?
@@Kat_Stewart It fits exactly the shape of the saddle. I am sure if you ask Harbor Freight they will have one for you.
Does anyone know what the difference is between this one and the 3 ton low profile Pittsburgh? Besides the price that is.
Yes, I would like to hear if anyone knows. :)

@@prebaned Thanks. That is very helpful!
At the moment it’s a $20 difference..I just bought the Daytona in green to match my tool chest and jack stands
@@chrisschulze8081 The best color! IMHO, of course. 😉
Thanks brother.
You're welcome! I have enjoyed using this jack. It is not bad!
Thanks!! Helped me a lot... The user manual is crap...
You're welcome!
You need to grease it.
Thank you Sam!
