ive had a pair of hoffman thinsulate pacs for a couple years, they are much more like a regular suppoetive boot than a normal floppy / squishy pac. great for milder temps. ive been meaning to get some of their felt pacs too. have a pair of made in canada whites that are decent but not great, too floppy around the ankle.
I have a pair of hotshots. That don’t fit quite right. How much would it cost to get that fixed? I’m hoping just to stretch the toe box out until I’m ready for a rebuild. If that works.
i would like hiking boots that are not held together with glue, remember stitching? had a pair of Pivettas for years and the soles stayed on them even when i dindn't use them for years. Bought a pair of vasques at REI and the soles began to seperate from lack of use. Double stitching, remember that?
