So is this mostly an “open” system? The Cielo Breez has no real feedback on what the actual AC unit is set to? If I start my unit at 72f with fan on low and energy saver off, how would the Cielo Breeze know what changes to make?
Cielo has a remote control compatibility identifier list that you’ll need to check. There’s a link to it in the description of my video.. if your remote is on their list, it’s compatible
I bought one of these and set the temperature on the app to 70 degrees "cooling mode", then the weather changed and the inside temperature dropped to 65 degrees. A person would think that the unit would stop cooling right? No, it just kept cranking the cooling. I called tech support and they said that this is normal and to use "comfy mode"? None of this makes sense to me, do you have this issue? To me the most simple function of a thermostat/controller doesn't do it's job. Thanks
Yeah it can be a little confusing. I was thinking the same exact way.. So it turns out the the "comfy mode" allows you to set a minimum and maximum temperature. To my understanding, that's the only way to get it to power off on it's own..
