That’s the rub isn’t it? When I was a young music student I’d play recordings of technically impressive stuff for my dad, who wasn’t a musician. I’d be losing my shit and he’d just say “is that hard or something because it doesn’t move me. It’s not musically interesting to me” But I really like this video. To me it’s not only technically impressive but musically and artistically interesting and inspiring.
i agree First of all 'cause this video get me inspired since the first Time that i saw It. I'm a flute player and this change absolutly my idea of improvisation technique
You’re my biggest inspiration, Leo. You motivate me to better myself as both a musician and a person. Thank you for doing what you do. Keep on keeping on, man.
No offense to you or leo, but he should inspire you to work with a metronome 😂 mans needs to either not drop 40 clicks or start off at the tempo that he knows he can play it at
I got a very good musical education and spent years of my life in a practice chamber, but this still impresses me!! Not only that, I highly enjoy listening to it. Kind of feels like stealing not paying for that. Thanks, Leo for keeping up all the different projects and us entertained!
Leo pellegrino you have inspired me my whole life to play bari sax and honestly I think you’re the best bari sax player that ever existed I would love to meet you some day. Keep up the amazing work man!
Being an old white guy my views and music are conservative but this Leo P "et al" impresses the hell out of me. I love the imagination, the effort and the originality. GREAT LEO

I think the tenor player may be using Tartini tones, where you play a note, sing a perfect fifth above it, and you can hear a resultant tone an octave lower
Is Leo going to ever post maybe like a how he does it video? i mean i watch Derek brown so i know a little bit but not everything since Leo is the only bari that does this on the planet. lol

There is an entire generation learning to push the Bari now. Thanks to Leo P.

Did Leo just extend his range even further? He went to dog whistle there for a minute...

ZHL242 have fun with this one 😂
Good luck with this one
I love moon hooch and too many zooz especially colabing together
3:06 what the actual f was that
Also, just realized Leo is wearing a harness for the first time instead of a neck strap
Micheal sings in some songs with Moon hooch so i think he sung through his sax
It was Leo going BWAAAHHH you can see his mouth move lol
He wears that also at the concerts
He switched to a harness around early 2018 I think.
Multiphonics
ZHL242 transcribe this on muse score
Lololololol
I just want to see him transcribe 3:06
Samuel Plays Brass,
He literally sung through his instrument!

eeecol Leo goes with the music. He feels it and does what he likes.
Long Wolf Huh
Man, I wish I'd found this earlier. So good coming from a 70 year guy.
3:35 Wow. Just imagine if that was in one of Leo's solos at the BBC Proms.
That would be terrible.

Leo P Holy hell thank you so much :) I play trumpet but my sister plays tenor and I watch all of your videos. Love your style man
@@LeoPSax Hey Leo, could you make a song called "Bleeding Gums", in homage to Bleeding Gums Murphy?
*Filmed in Leo’s Tardis wardrobe
I switched to the baritone guitar so I could play along with that sexy baritone sax. Leo P is writing the best bass lines in the world!!
Had to listen twice will be back again some day. Great music
Octave pedals or just godly playing? Both?
Godly playing.. its an affect you reach with your throat and tongue position, called Overtones.
I think the tenor player may be using Tartini tones, where you play a note, sing a perfect fifth above it, and you can hear a resultant tone an octave lower
They both have great sound but they are both using octaver pedals
Nicolas Matherne, that would explain a lot. They sounded too good to be using overtones or undertones alone to create the bass effects.
Great sound, love it.
Just sick! Love it!
