I've really enjoyed this series because we got to see everyone relaxing, having a little downtime & having a tonne of fun. I think most people love to chuck a line in when they go camping, because it's one of those things we all associate with 'holidays'. This series really shone with the fishing element, you don't have to be good at it, most of us suck, I couldnt catch a cold some trips 🤣, but laughing & pulling the piss out of your mates is a thing we all can relate to, its honestly the best part of fishing in a group LOL. Best series yet for me!! 😎🍻👍
Thoroughly enjoyed this series ... was cool to see that you show your mistakes as well as the success when trying to fish. It's called Fishing, not CATCHING, all I saw was four friends (and a camera person) out having a blast ... keep it up!
One of your best...Love the fishing side of it...You don't even have to be a pro at fishing to have fun and catch your own feed...Can't wait for the boating adventure...👌😎🍻🚤...
Wow that was one hell of recovery. I really like the tracks going through the dunes after the recovery. Really awesome series thank you Ronnie can't wait for the next one
Those little whiting are really good deep fried. Get them just right and you can eat the lot, bones, tails and all. Loved this series, makes a change to see some fishing as that is the reason we have a 4x4.
Ronny Diana hl and paparazzi approach for the best picturesque opportunity almost tipped over my favourite TH-cam 4bi. It happens, reflect on history to prosper in future.
Hi Ronnie, and Patriot, look at the skid plate built into the South African Jurgens caravans, it allows the tow bar to slide over the sand. Great work.
A bloody exciting / nerve wracking way to end the trip! Good to see it wasn't any worse. Another great series mate, really enjoying the direction your channel is going; bring on the next series already haha 🤙
Solar panels: FYI you measure current into the regulator or batteries to see if the angle to the sun helps. Ronny, stopping when you did up that dune was what saved it mate, well done. Bloody holding my breath the whole time.
Gday Ronny! Pretty intense recovery there mate, however great team effort at the end of the day. Great job guys. thoroughly enjoyed this series, now looking forward to the USA series.
Great series again Ron! For the feedback as you mentioned in the outro the only thing that didn't work for me was the talking/reminiscing bits in between, but thats probably because of Discovery channel that i dont like it, the oldschool style of you i like much better :) Big thank you for the good stuff again mate and looking forward watching your next adventure, cheers! 👌
Every time I watch your vids it makes me wish we had more diesel vehicles over here in the States. I'm a Wrangler guy over here (yeah...I know...) but at some point I'd love to look at building a more practical overland rig. But I feel like we are pretty limited in good choices to build from over here.
With the trailer recovery...you wouldn't want to add a skid plate to the jockey wheel arrangement because the clamp on the A frame wouldn't be up to the task of handling the torque. Best idea would be to carry a skid plate (could double as a jacking plate etc) with a DO35 "male" fitting attached, so you could drag via the DO35 hitch.
if your going to tow a trailer ,why,??.BUY A VEHICLE YOU DONT NEED A TRAILER..THERE THE WORST THING YOU CAN OWN.i have 4 hitches, front back l side r side.winch sits in the back,or the shed..times needed a side winch for pendulum pull,.ronny should buy a real truck.unimog,iveco,250,ram,ect.same price, just better.iveco comes with 2 low range,3 lockers std,.unimog same..;.most answers to this is,,"oh there too big,",no your brain is too small..basic 4x4,needs,,,,a 3m wheel base,2 diffs, not IFS,70.1 low,35" tyres,std..at least a 4.2tdi..a 6 cyl has more torque than a v8..per cube..5 or 6 sp,with a first gear you dont need to use to take off.Auto, only with lock up on all gears..
Nice video, scary recovery! You should look into some recovery gear for a trailer ... like the one you talked about, a ski or something? If there are nothing on the market, you can put it on the market! :)
Love it guys. But I didn't see you showing us the baby powder for not getting sand in your tent or swag am dying to know it's one of my worst nightmares sand in swag
@Colorado4x4Van Yes there are pro and cons to towing. Cons are do not stop on soft sand! Made that mistake a few times. But the pros are great as i carry so much camera gear and a passenger in limited for usable space. Having to pull on camera box out to get to the other sucks and slows filming down. Having the trail allows me to stock led lights, drones and charging gear. On top of that is having all the cooking gear and storage for everything else and a roof top. That means base camps I have the lightest cruiser and can head out unloaded more or less without having all the weight on the rear being well over GVM too. Anyways I’ll make a video about al the pros and cons I’ve found from towing 8 different trailers over the past 10yrs

Thoroughly enjoyed this series ... was cool to see that you show your mistakes as well as the success when trying to fish. It's called Fishing, not CATCHING, all I saw was four friends (and a camera person) out having a blast ... keep it up!
I loved the series , looks like great times . If your going to get bogged what better than to do it with friends,
That was an insane recovery, well done guys loved this series 👍

Great series! Never a dull moment.

Another memorable adventure, thanks Ronnie and crew.

Great series. I enjoyed it. Good shovel work on the recovery. I assume you bought lunch.
Excellent series, loved it, thanks for doing!
Great series Ronny, looking forward to your US Trip videos.
He will meet Brad from trailrecon ... want to see this too
Awesome series! That’s a Sabiki rig, not always legal depending on location, but really effective, especially from a boat.
3 hooks only in WA
@@toddmillar4041 yep. they just uploaded proof for fisheries to convict them..
very nice.
“Mate WA looks amazing!” Cheers from Sunny Coast Qld 🇦🇺👍🏻
Great series. I grew up in Perth and I still miss those beaches

Great series. Great production. Nice work everyone 👍🏻
Ronny Diana hl and paparazzi approach for the best picturesque opportunity almost tipped over my favourite TH-cam 4bi. It happens, reflect on history to prosper in future.
Favorite 4x4 channel from Australia!!! Really sad I won't be in Arizona(live in Tucson,Az.) During the expo.was hoping to meet the crew.

Another great start to a Sunday. Cheers Ronny & enjoy the US. 👌🏾👍🏾 from Papua New Guinea🇵🇬.

A bloody exciting / nerve wracking way to end the trip! Good to see it wasn't any worse. Another great series mate, really enjoying the direction your channel is going; bring on the next series already haha 🤙

Bloody ripping series mate, was such a great inspiring trip, makes me so keen to get out onto the tracks
I watched a 13 minute ad only cuz your my favorite offroader
Solar panels: FYI you measure current into the regulator or batteries to see if the angle to the sun helps. Ronny, stopping when you did up that dune was what saved it mate, well done. Bloody holding my breath the whole time.
Great series again Ronny congrats
Awesome series again, wicked recovery. Keep it up!!!
This fishing reminded of one we did recently, only small ones good for crispy fried. Tons of fun though. From the Caribbean.
Awsum series mate cheers

Good one guys ...
Gday Ronny! Pretty intense recovery there mate, however great team effort at the end of the day. Great job guys. thoroughly enjoyed this series, now looking forward to the USA series.

Ronny you were going to give a review on the Rhino panels. Looking forward to it. Switzerland.
Heading up Cervantes next weekend mate , looking forward to it even more now lol !

Love the sand work good show bro
It'll give Justin something to think about, recovery kit for their trailers lol
AWESOME SERIES !!!!
Thanks for the video Ronny. That 200 series it’s looks awesome, please do a review on it ....
Loves it, legend!
Ever tried fly fishing it's a lot of fun. Might even be classes at Overland Expo West
If you're going to take a trailer everywhere (why?) then maybe a rear winch on the ute would be good for recovering trailers
Yep I hear you
if your going to tow a trailer ,why,??.BUY A VEHICLE YOU DONT NEED A TRAILER..THERE THE WORST THING YOU CAN OWN.i have 4 hitches, front back l side r side.winch sits in the back,or the shed..times needed a side winch for pendulum pull,.ronny should buy a real truck.unimog,iveco,250,ram,ect.same price, just better.iveco comes with 2 low range,3 lockers std,.unimog same..;.most answers to this is,,"oh there too big,",no your brain is too small..basic 4x4,needs,,,,a 3m wheel base,2 diffs, not IFS,70.1 low,35" tyres,std..at least a 4.2tdi..a 6 cyl has more torque than a v8..per cube..5 or 6 sp,with a first gear you dont need to use to take off.Auto, only with lock up on all gears..

Good series lads
I have been waiting for this one :) And i i hear you are off to the states with Patriot .. cool as buddy.
yeah boyz & girl the shiznitz need to come back to WA to do a tag along
Cant wait for the USA adventures Ron,
USA vs AUS with patriot campers and expedition Overland.
You should try and use the drone for fishing!
love your vids ronny but that last sand bog was your bad driving fault. cool
Thanks man!
Been waiting for this final video....:)
If you can't get the trailer out ronny leave it there and i will go get it 😆😆
Enjoyed!
i cant think of a 4x4 that flexes worse, all u ever do is lift wheels in the brick haha love the show though mate 👍
Bloke standing in the death zone while winching 😔
Nice video, scary recovery!
You should look into some recovery gear for a trailer ... like the one you talked about, a ski or something? If there are nothing on the market, you can put it on the market! :)
Rear winch would have been great
Love it guys. But I didn't see you showing us the baby powder for not getting sand in your tent or swag am dying to know it's one of my worst nightmares sand in swag
I was on a similar angle the other dad dad had to come recover my jimny it's not a good feeling on the edge.
Don looks real handy in a recovory
Would it have been easier to recover the trailer by winching it in reverse?
Epic work ,thanks all ;)
that poor bugger using
a kings swag.....
Great series as always but not a fan of the log/interviews, the raw, natural content that you do is so much more enjoyable to watch.
Suggesting perhaps to capture the log chat right at or right after the moment perhaps?
Agree wholeheartedly. You don't need the interview cutaways.
@@Ronny_Dahl maybe get the group together to talk about the incident afterwards, would be natural that way and not staged so to speak
I kinda liked the log chat
How did you get Travis' cruiser in front of your car Ronny?
Crane
Love it 👍
Everyone knows that shoe string fries are better than crinkle cut but otherwise great video as usual.
First
Awesome Series and great team of crew and vehicles
Sweet camera work and editing
Cheers mate
And when you pulled that Sebiki Lure out and dipped in Hell's Bucket
Gold
It starts at 32:33 and ends 32:35 Two seconds that describes "RONNY DAHL"
loved it
more of these kind of recovery's
What’s the talcum powder hack mate?? 🇦🇺
It’s in the next series still to edit
Ronny Dahl , legend! Look forward to it! Enjoy the states 👍🏼
That trailer seems to give you some trouble off-roading. I assume the benefits out-weigh the draw backs?
Purely for advertising purposes
@@billohagan9814 I know Aussies love their trailers, so I didn't want to guess. I can't wait to meet these guys at the Expo next week!
