The order they were put together means nothing, that just which pic they came across first. They said particular things about each one of them and all of them together made the band what it is. It wouldn’t have worked with just three, it struggles with four, all five were perfect.
The pictures were shuffled do they selected em as they came along.....it's not that Niall was selected first and Zayn last.....it's just that Niall's pic came first that's it.....I'm glad it did though....my Irish princess 💗

“Little girls will love them.” I was 11 when they were formed - I’m Australian, I didn’t hear about them til I was 12. Then I fell in love. I’m 23 now, and still adore the boys. I grew up with 1D, they were with me through my adolescence, the good and the bad. There will always be a soft part of my heart for 1D.

The extra sad thing is he had said several times that becoming famous and at such a young age… was extremely detrimental to his health. He had stoped drinking 6 months before his life ended and then something happened and it pushed him… and well I’m sure you all read the articles and know what happened 😢 What grinds my gears about the whole thing!!! Is the workers heard sounds earlier!!! And didn’t think to look or investigate it…. In theory they could have saved him. Or his life at the time anyways 😢
It hurts A LOT that they are not together anymore. But I’m so happy to say that they truly loved music to the point where I was able to watch Louis in his own concert.

In 2016 they were the highest paid boyband of all time according to Forbes. 1D pumped out 5 albums in 5 years along with nonstop tours compared to BSB who has put out 10 albums in 29 years (formed in '93). Social media being around definitely helped their fan base and continuous new music helped keep their fan base active.
They made history in a few minutes just like that 😭, and i can't believe Simon took credit for that! He just sat there while Nicole and Louis made the band, especially Nicole. Niall was the first member of One Direction and he will be the last. He said in an interview he told his managers that even if he is successful as a solo artist, he will leave everything behind whenever the band calls him. Hope the other members also feel the same.
Harry has now said he is open to the idea. I'm pretty sure that Louis would like to come back if it's the right time. Liam has probably had the most interactions with everybody alongside Niall and has been hanging out A LOT with Louis compared to the others. But Louis is doing well in his solo career and abandoning or focusing less on it at its peak is untimely. I think he'd like to join but it's a little hard to do at the moment. With Zayn it's a mystery but unless it's REALLY special, I don't think he'll come back. I think he'd come back for one or a couple of songs. most likely it would be the 4 of them if they do return with Zayn making a cameo or two.
Sadly though, he was at the top of that list because they wanted to say no to him. They were searching for a reason to keep him. And good thing they found one/found a way! He's awesome!

Here after Liam’s passing He was meant to lead, Harry may have gotten the role in the end but Liam was the true leader. The backbone if you will, I cannot imagine 1D without him. Fly high king ❤

The video shows All 3 put it together, they all saw the vision. Nicole made a huge contribution in selection. Wonderful creative process by all involved. It's wrong to discredit they all made contributions in the edit and listened to each other.

Plus it's quiet but at the beginning Simon says to put Niall in a group and then nicole says yes a boy band, and when she says boy band again later he's hesitant and says group. So the group thing is what put it in Nicole's head. Everyone is saying it's all her but you are so right! All 3 of them did it together. Nicole did alot. But so did the others. It would be fair to say the 3 of them created 1d. Unfair to give Simon all the credit though.
Simon did come up with the idea of forming a group first. His voice is quiet at the beginning of the video but he said it and Nicole agreed. Simon picked Niall ("he should be in a group this boy, I'm not saying we gotta do it, but I'd like to imagine it") , Nicole picked Harry, Simon picked Louis, Nicole fought for Liam, and they all went for Zane. Nichole's enthusiasm really pushed it forward though. If she hadn't been so on board with the idea, it may never have happened.
Correct me if i am wrong but didnt Liam said in an interviw that simon created the band because of him? and here we can see he didnt even wanted him in 1D and in reality the idea came from thinking that Niall would be cute in a boy band, and if it wasnt for nicole Liam probably wouldnt be where he is today.

I’m not getting why directioners who know their history are pretending this isn’t true. Harry became the focus cos he was the most popular member of the band. But if you watch their xfactor performances and tour, as well as the first two albums and related tours, it’s clear when it came to live performances and vocals Liam was at the forefront. Even in their later albums he’s all over the harmonies and backing. Liam cannot be extracted from one direction, the one time he was unwell the guys cancelled their performance. If the hater Directioners think the other guys will be grateful for all this hate and ridicule they have subjected Liam to, then they are hallucinating. Why would the guys want a reunion when fans have switched on Liam so spectacularly. I think they realise that could be them at any point in time. If I were them I’d stay in my solo career.

I'm 28 too. I'm not a fanatic and I don't regularly listen to this type of music, but I did grow up watching them from time to time and I do respect their craft and grind. I also grew up watching Justin Bieber and it's wild that we're the same age and all grown up now. Like we've seen they're entire journeys from the very beginning, from nothing to global super stars. It's wild.

Imagine being literally any of the other boys on this table. Even the ones who got solo yes's. Like you were so close to being one of THE top heart breakers of 2010s (and let's be honest they are all still stealing our hearts in the 2020s too). Also Nicole knew what she was doing. @@Dublin90210 I think if you actually break it down, Simon singles out Niall as an "If only he were in a group..." possibility and Nicole takes the initiative to be like "Yes let's try it!" Then she def insists on Harry, and Simon chimes in first on Louis, but it's pretty much immediate consensus. Then she picks Liam, which Simon pushes back on in case they want to give him a standalone vote, and concedes to their arguments that he's better in the group. And then Louis Walsh kinda singles out Zayn while Simon agrees and Nicole just has zero hesitation in grabbing his card and completing the group haha. So it is a collaboration, but she is the real cheerleader and feels like she has the most authentic enthusiasm, which is why it feels like she does all the selecting and why One Direction fans identify with her the most. She's reacting the most appropriately to seeing their pictures placed together for the very first time, the men are like "Yeah, it's good!" and she's like "SQUEEEEE!" She's not just putting contestants together, she is personally creating HER perfect boy band from the options, combining individual talents and maximizing cuteness. She was just the most enthusiastic and vocal about the choices made by Louie and Simon. Only Liam was the one she had chosen. The rest everyone immediately agreed when Louie picked up a photo. She took the photos from Louie’s hand and placed it together so it looked like she was the lone creator but she wasn’t so she should stop taking credit for creating the best boy band.

They only knew each other for 2 weeks before they had to perform together on the show, talk about pressure. But Liam held that group together during the performances on XFactor. He started the songs and did most of the vocals and the others followed him. I think Liam is the reason they succeeded.

They put them together thinking it’ll work and then later they “form the band” around a person. Liam was suppose to be the headlight and the boys back up to that. Hence “forming the band around him”. Literally not j they made the band around me. No, look brighter the first couple years literally were formed around him being the front man etc.

Es tan increible que el colocar fotos, ellos estaban casi "jugando" con estas imagenes y eso fue lo que formo a 1D y creo una de las mejores epocas de la vida de muchos. WOW, es dificil creer que ese momento, fueron 5 minutos, los que cambiaron la vida de millones en todo el mundo. The order they were put together means nothing, that just which pic they came across first. They said particular things about each one of them and all of them together made the band what it is. It wouldn’t have worked with just three, it struggles with four, all five were perfect.

I was 11 when they were formed - I’m Australian, I didn’t hear about them til I was 12. Then I fell in love. I’m 23 now, and still adore the boys. I grew up with 1D, they were with me through my adolescence, the good and the bad. There will always be a soft part of my heart for 1D.

I wouldn't call them the biggest boy band. There's BTS, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Boyz ll Men, and The Jackson 5. 1D is top 10 though.

In 2016 they were the highest paid boyband of all time according to Forbes. 1D pumped out 5 albums in 5 years along with nonstop tours compared to BSB who has put out 10 albums in 29 years (formed in '93). Social media being around definitely helped their fan base and continuous new music helped keep their fan base active.
They made history in a few minutes just like that 😭, and i can't believe Simon took credit for that! He just sat there while Nicole and Louis made the band, especially Nicole. Niall was the first member of One Direction and he will be the last. He said in an interview he told his managers that even if he is successful as a solo artist, he will leave everything behind whenever the band calls him. Hope the other members also feel the same.

Harry has now said he is open to the idea. I'm pretty sure that Louis would like to come back if it's the right time. Liam has probably had the most interactions with everybody alongside Niall and has been hanging out A LOT with Louis compared to the others. But Louis is doing well in his solo career and abandoning or focusing less on it at its peak is untimely. I think he'd like to join but it's a little hard to do at the moment. With Zayn it's a mystery but unless it's REALLY special, I don't think he'll come back. I think he'd come back for one or a couple of songs. most likely it would be the 4 of them if they do return with Zayn making a cameo or two.

Simon did come up with the idea of forming a group first. His voice is quiet at the beginning of the video but he said it and Nicole agreed. Simon picked Niall ("he should be in a group this boy, I'm not saying we gotta do it, but I'd like to imagine it") , Nicole picked Harry, Simon picked Louis, Nicole fought for Liam, and they all went for Zane. Nichole's enthusiasm really pushed it forward though. If she hadn't been so on board with the idea, it may never have happened.

Even in their later albums he’s all over the harmonies and backing. Liam cannot be extracted from one direction, the one time he was unwell the guys cancelled their performance.
If the hater Directioners think the other guys will be grateful for all this hate and ridicule they have subjected Liam to, then they are hallucinating. Even Nichole, Simon and Louis could not have predicted how beautifully each of their unique voices would combine and harmonise together over time. Once in a Lifetime is the standout track for me. I love it so much.
The way they talk about Liam 😭 They saw him a the líder and he was,and that’s way it was so hard for him to move on…I think he wasn’t able to accept the idea of 1D ending,and he try so hard to be part of the others life,always going to concerts and supporting,he was holding on to them.

@@Dublin90210 I think if you actually break it down, Simon singles out Niall as an "If only he were in a group..." possibility and Nicole takes the initiative to be like "Yes let's try it!" Then she def insists on Harry, and Simon chimes in first on Louis, but it's pretty much immediate consensus. Then she picks Liam, which Simon pushes back on in case they want to give him a standalone vote, and concedes to their arguments that he's better in the group. And then Louis Walsh kinda singles out Zayn while Simon agrees and Nicole just has zero hesitation in grabbing his card and completing the group haha.
So it is a collaboration, but she is the real cheerleader and feels like she has the most authentic enthusiasm, which is why it feels like she does all the selecting and why One Direction fans identify with her the most. She's reacting the most appropriately to seeing their pictures placed together for the very first time, the men are like "Yeah, it's good!" and she's like "SQUEEEEE!" She's not just putting contestants together, she is personally creating HER perfect boy band from the options, combining individual talents and maximizing cuteness. That's why she feels like the true founder.
@@dlh7989 agree that It was a collaborative team effort. I don’t know why everyone is saying Nicole is the only one who created the group. She was just the most enthusiastic and vocal about the choices made by Louie and Simon. Only Liam was the one she had chosen. The rest everyone immediately agreed when Louie picked up a photo. She took the photos from Louie’s hand and placed it together so it looked like she was the lone creator but she wasn’t so she should stop taking credit for creating the best boy band.
She even picked Liam as the perfect leader for them.
And Simon even considered Liam to be better than just a boy band member and wanted him to be chosen as a solo artist.
Turns out that it was the best decision that Simon, Louis and Nicole had ever made! Forming the best boyband ever!

They only knew each other for 2 weeks before they had to perform together on the show, talk about pressure. But Liam held that group together during the performances on XFactor. He started the songs and did most of the vocals and the others followed him. I think Liam is the reason they succeeded.

@@2Bdiscovered i'm really proud of zayn and he was so brave for leaving and i love him for that he indeed is extremely talented but him leaving has nothing to do with level.louis can sing really well and he writes beautiful songs .it's just that Zayn had a different style in music and he wasn't able to show it nor could he avoid things he didn't want to do.he was and still proud of the band and all it's members.

They put them together thinking it’ll work and then later they “form the band” around a person. Liam was suppose to be the headlight and the boys back up to that. Hence “forming the band around him”. Literally not j they made the band around me. No, look brighter the first couple years literally were formed around him being the front man etc.

I'm having goosebumps and am nervous watching this like it didn't happened 12 years ago. Seeing how it was started from scratch is unbelievably amazing.
