What a sadly underestimated composer Wiren is. His music is always inventive and optimistic, unlike some other Swedish composers I could mention. This quartet, that is entirely new to me, appears to almost have a Swedish "folk-music" twist to it hiding in the background. A fascinating work. As usual Roberto, another amazing find.
