I've learned from experience: if you have a decent title (doesn't have to be perfect) a good description 2 good categories and select good keywords amazon really will classify your books properly. I think authors hoping to improve should focus both on writing an effective description and selecting decent keywords. Good description+Accurate Categories+Adequate Keywords = algorithm WILL place you even if your title is only ok!

This was such a useful video ! Currently put out 4 different types of low content book this weekend and you are soooo right it's been like learning 4 different jobs 😂😂😂. what i mean is: ok keywords + good description + accurate categories = amazon will place you properly. nothing wrong with generating long tail keywords but at least in my genres there's not many.

Hi Sean, my question is regarding the BSR when niching down. For example, we know that Meditation has a good (low) BSR, but when we try to niche down and choose Meditation for Women over 50 then the BSR isn’t good anymore (too high). This is just an example but can apply to other topics too, in general “_____” keyword has a good BSR but then you add “____ For Beginners” and the BSR is much higher. What do you recommend in those situations? Thanks!

A keyword is a term used to describe a word or a group of words an Internet user uses to perform a search in a search engine or search bar.
Customer writes " planner" on a Amazon search bar, that's a keyword or "blue daily planner" is also a keyword
