It's sweet to see for once in my life that people playing the string and wind instruments were like enjoying this metal music. Grew up in America where every band teacher would tell you this is garbage next to Eminem. I enjoy listening to Dimmu Borgir, They have quite a diverse taste of sound.
I remember in my GCSE music class in school they were teaching us about different forms of music and they included UK Garage in the mix but not metal; we sat there listening to Craig David thinking "what the fuck is this shit?". It caused a heated exchange between my circle of friends and the girls who liked the Garbage. If they had played Pantera or similar there wouldn't have been an issue.
Both of these comments are stupid. It most certainly has everything to do with the appreciation of music, this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't. All musicians are proper musicians and I bet members of the orchestra really appreciate music as it is. You make it sound like Dimmu Borgirs orchestral arrangements are somehow simple, but I want you to really listen to them. Most of the compositions are actually quite brilliant even from a classical orchestration point of view, especially Mustis era.
I love the blond girl with a purple top playing cello, she really looks to enjoy it. In the concert video we see her sometimes and she's really into it !!!
fantastic!! do you have more material from the rehearsals? i would love to see more. i sang in a classical choir and loved the rehearsals with orchestra too. it´s so interesting!
@@wannabeserpento99 Yes. That's exactly what it means. If it was written for an orchestra, it's classical music. If you want to claim that "but muh classical period was in the 1700s" you'd have to remove Debussy, Ravel, and Vivaldi from the list of classical music composers. "Classical music" is a genre of symphonic music. Stop being an elitist prick. And he's not even correct. Pop music is hugely influenced by classical music. yooo, he's there, the metal trombone guy!
HE IS SO FUCKING POWER BOMB !!!
@Kaleb Brysen Fuck off lmao
Should have been titled "Find the Metal Trombone Guy" instead.
It’s true trombones are made of metal
That guy rules 🤘
Big cheers to the Czech National Orchestra for trying this music. Sounds astonishing, wish I could see the two playing before I die. A fan from Korea.
I sincerely hope you will, my friend...
Yeah still much better than Kpop

symphonic black metal is just created to be played with the orchestra, and orchestra feels the black metal, because this is THE REAL MUSIC :)

That's so silly.
Metal is by far the modern music genre that lends itself to orchestration.
It's good to see "proper musicians" appreciate black metal. Brilliant
It has nothing to do with appreciation. They're getting paid to do the gig. It just so happens they're classically trained.

What does this have to do with classical music? Does an orchestra playing mean it's classical?
