I watch this video and think what a blessing Denise must be in your life. But you know that more than me of course. Love the image at 14:28 Just something about it. I think of Louis Armstrong's song, `What a wonderful world'. Or maybe I just see you and Denise walking down the path together. Lovely. The video is not too long. In fact its a great education about `working a place.' Well done.
maybe not the best video, but you all know i like to share all my days out its the honest viewing... i hope i managed to show things got better from the first photo to the last one Please note my 2022 calendar is still out for sale and has a special winner ticket inside one
Will be interesting to see what you do with our Norfolk landscape . Would love to have joined you on a shoot as i live in Norwich , but my ankle is still buggered . Ill enjoy watching to videos though
Haha why do I bother going on holiday when I can sit at home and come with you and Mrs C. I liked the portrait No3 for the composition and leading line. I've only been to Norfolk once before but never with photography in mind, I can see I'm going to have to change that and being a Lancashire lad I've always been reluctant to head to the southern flatlands
I luv the way Mrs C just wanders off to do her own thing and gets to a lone tree before you. Nice shots though, and yes they got betterer as you went on.
Roydon Common is a great playground for photographers, especially in August/September time. And it's much larger and diverse than it looks at first glance. Some really good photos in your video (my favourite is the one from 10:58 - it would look great with the proper misty sunrise). Looking forward to your next videos from Norfolk.
Being American, I have to pick #4 of the series with the "American looking" spiny weed. HA! I've been cutting down Scottish thistles here. Talk about spiny, but the purple flowers are gorgeous. Love the cows too!
@@paulcomptonpdphotography Probably due to 19th century writing. In copperplate g's and f's both had looping tails and its easy to misread o/u and s/z when you're joining them up. Same reason why the Scottish name Menzies is pronounced Minges, z and g both had a looped tail.
The heather has been good this year. So far managed not to fall over in it. Excellent just at the moment for Rowan and Hawthorn berries and the Oaks are putting out very large acorns. Preferred image at 17:54 (3).
Been looking forward to these Norfolk vlogs ,we went there when i left you in Wells .(it was tooo busy) to park . Roydon is a wonderful venue . I took the tree shot ( must have the same mind set LOL) hope to be go back next week early for the fog/mist which you get this weather . Rest of the day we will be Fungi hunting just down the rd at Dersingham Bog. Mrs C braver than me ,i hate cows :) well done look forward to the next one.
No problem with the long videos, I always enjoy them anyway, keep 'em coming, thanks. 👍👍
Good on ya

There is a lot down there wait and see
Another great video Paul sorry I missed you this year. The prickly plant is a common gorse.
No worries just a gorse hhmmm

very nice images from a heather moorland location and you're right they did get better and better📷👍 The spikey plant looked like gorse to me Paul.
Glad you enjoyed it, was not the best video but did show imporvments
Yeah, young gorse, although they call it furze in Norfolk.
How interesting

now is the time for the fog and mist months
@@paulcomptonpdphotography yes it does get a bit thick here in the fens .
Maybe next time
This video shows that it pays to work the scene. Gorse has bright yellow flowers in April and May so a very different scene then
it defo got better
Liked the heather but the trees not inspiring.
It was all I had to play with lol
