March 2019 After sustaining a hamstring injury during the JLT Community Series match in Lismore, Izak Rankine is set to miss the start of the 2019 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
May 2019 Rankine suffered a hamstring injury on the eve of the season, before he had a small setback in his rehabilitation, which will leave him in the Suns’ rehab group for the next four to six weeks.
“Unfortunately Izak suffered a small setback in his rehabilitation,” Gold Coast head physiotherapist Lindsay Bull said.
March 2020 The Gold Coast SUNS can confirm Izak Rankine has endured a setback in his preparations ahead of the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
Rankine was sent for scans following an incident whilst training in the build up to Round 1, with results confirming the small forward had sustained a low-grade hamstring strain.
2022 Also missed games due to Corked quad, shoulder injuries.
